Hi! How are you?
Well it's nearly been a week since my x-DP finally left, and I've got to say I FEEL FREE!
Funny thing is, when x-DP was here, our DS would wake up at around 5am - now, he sleeps in until 7am! And I still get him down for his sleep around 7pm at night as usual! So snaps to me.
I haven't done ANY of my christmas shopping (slack, hey). I don't know what to get for my Dad and his gf. I'll get something cheap and simple for x-DP from DS. Even though from experience, it's been MY family that make sure I get something 'from DS'.
I really want to put my christmas tree up, because I love christmas, but DS will probably want to pull it down! The devil! I might have to do stockings on doorknobs until he gets it.
This year I'm having everyone come to me, and I'm going to do a big feast. Make a big deal. Christmas is about to become mega-fun!

we're both good, getting excited about babies first christmas but more excited cause this will be my first christmas as a mummy :xmas:. I didn't think I could afford to buy everyone presents this year so I decided to make most of them. I've made a scrapbooking album for my brother and his DP of their DD. For my DD godparents I made them each a scrapbooking page in a scrapbooking frame and was going to cook some stuff like rocky road and rum balls and do it all up nicely.

We're doing ok, my mum wants to invite the husband to our family Christmas - which is fine with me, but I'm 99% sure he won't come. I'm worried that he won't even care whether he see's them for Christmas or not. I'm also 99% sure he won't bother buying them presents.
But there won't be any horrible arguing on Christmas Eve or Christmas Morning this year, so I'm happy about that!!
Merry Christmas to all the single mumma's and bubba's. :D

Merry Christmas to everyone..
:reindeer: MERRY Xmas to you both. Sometimes I feel like a kid again when it comes to xmas with my son, I'm sure I get more excited, although he doesn't quiet comprehend what's really going on. Have already put up our :tree: . For any mothers with little ones, put up a xmas tree if your worried about the decorations you can always skip the bottom few branches or buy big decorations that can't be chocked on. Some cheap gift ideas: At Big W, if u get actual roll film developed un get a free 6" x 8" enlargement get one of your child frame it and wrap it. Buy 4ltr olive oil, some cheap bottles, add herbs, chillie, whatever they look great in a kitchen, I did that last year everyone loved them. Party shops sell clear cellophane bags, make rum balls, ginger bread men, etc and tie with ribbon:xmas: Going to take my son to xmas carols this year at a huge mansion around the corner. Its national trust with gorgeous gardens, they do it each year maybe a glass of wine and a picnic with my gorgeous boy.

:tree: MERRY CHRISTMAS to all the mummies and bubba's!!
xmas this year looks like its going to be great! The family is going to my cousin's place for christmas lunch- she's got a 5 month old bubba boy and my other cousin will be there too with her 18 month beautiful boy. They are both gorgeous! I can't wait to see my cousins again and she has a pool which will be GREAT!
Those gift idea's you are all giving out sound excellent! Its a beautiful Idea to make things for people! I think i might do some cooking as well and take up some gifts for the family!
I hope you all stay safe over the xmas period, enjoy your time with family and friends and have a happy new year! :p
This will be my first Christmas as a solo mum - and I'm looking forward to it. My ex didn't like Christmas.
The boys & I have already put the tree up & are looking forward to the christmas play next week.
