I was looking to buy a new twin Minior Classic emmaljunga pram, older version i know but i really like it. Why i am posting it in Adeladie as i saw them last year on the streets down there and know they must be in the shops somewhere. Are there any die hard shoppers who could tell me where i could get one please?

Hi Tren,

I am not familiar with this pram, however I do know that the emmaljunga brand is made by the same people that make Valco. In Adelaide one of the major stockists of Valco and Emmaljunga is Just Kidding in Franklin Street in the city. Their phone number is 8221 6006 so you could try phoning them. Otherwise, have a look at the Valo website and perhaps email then and ask where there is someone in your state that stocks this particular pram. Another major stockist of all different brands is YCN in the city, their phone number is 8211 8740 - they also have a pretty comprehensive website at www.ycn.com.au (http://www.ycn.com.au)

thank you so much for all the trouble you went to, I phoned YCN and just kidding apparrently they only want to sell me the new model cerox or crossway. The model I wanted is more the classic one that is an older model not so fancy but as far as i think more rugged and suited to my needs.

I then phoned the valco headquarters and they said they couldn't tell me which shops they sold them too so that i could call them directly and ask them if they still have it.... arrrgggghhhh can't even seem to buy a pram off them anyway! My only hope i think is if somoene actually sees one in their local shops and could let me know. I saw it actually in YCN last year on sale really cheap when i was living there and have always regretted not buying it then.

We have a pretty good second hand shop near us so I'll keep and eye out for you. Have you tried Ebay and doing a search on the net?? Don't suppose you have a pic of it that you could PM me so I know what to look for??? I just hate it when you finally decide what you want and have your heart set on it and then you can't get it - it sucks. I will definately try and help you out!!

I saw it in YCN shop in adelaide at $700 (on special) and wish i bought it last year. I ended up buying a valco with toddler seat instead and think it is crap. I so much wish i had bought the emmaljunga as i also think it looks pretty cool too. The minior model has shiny frame, steel basket , pump up wheels and is there l classic model. Now i have decided on it over there new models (cerox- i don't like the basket and crossway - no sides on basket and no pump up wheels) i really really really want one!!!!!!! I thought though i would get new as i always seem to have problems with second hand stuff. There has to be one somewhere in some shop just waiting to be bought by me! probably in some shop that doesnt know how to advertise on line or something. Up here in QLD they are not popular at all as everyone seems to buy 3 wheelers twin. and anyway there are no shops within hours of where i live. God I miss the shops in Adelaide.............
