I know it's early but has anyone got any names in mind?

How will you choose?

Any reasons behind that particular name, ie family?

Does your partner like it too?

If its a girl: Zara Helen. Helen is a family name, and Zara well that makes JKATZ :p

Boy NO IDEA :banghead: We don't even know what middle name to use, both our boys have family middle names, but we can't find one that we want to use. And we just can't seem to find a first name we both really like. Hoping this is a good sign, for DS2 we couldn't agree on girls name but had is name picked out very early on.

Ryder - Boy... Maybe James or Brian as a middle name (Brian after my dad)

There are plenty of others I have in mind, those are my faves though..

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm so many names. If a girl I like Paris Paige, Allegra and Bella all of which hubby doesn't like. For a boy I like Xavier - hubby doesn't like that either. We used James as a middle name for Jett. Thats hubbys middle name and also his dads - so I don't want to use that again.

But theres plenty of time to find more names

Try telling my DH that:laughing: has to have a name by the 20 wk scan, so as soon as we know the sex he starts calling the bub by the name. All our family and friends know and we don't change it for anyone !

Hey TJ I love Ava for a girl too and it is similar to my mums name Eva (which I am wanting to use somewhere if I have a girl). But unfortuantely it sounds kinda stupid with Xavier.
"Xavier, Ava come here!" So I dunno about that.

Anita - I Know I am biased but Xavier is a fantastic name!!

Still very unsure of names it changes daily. With Xavier we decided at about 3months preg and stuck with it, we loved the name and still do.
Bu I have yet to find a name that grabs me the way Xavier did.
Boys names I have dabbled with the thought of Luke
and Mason
but IIIIIIIIIIIII dunno!!!!!

I have liked a few girls names that I have seen in movies but they are too long and old fashioned and DH looked at me like WTF when I suggested: Evangeline (Nanny MCphee gave me the idea , love that movie).
Or Angelina but Angelina Jolie kinda put us off that name!
I like Lucy and Lily but they are used so much now.
I always have the battle that I want something everyone else doesn't
use, but thats not easy!

Well I havent got any names at the moment but even if we did I wouldn't be telling.....

I know several who have told people the names and all the sudden their friend uses that name!

I used dh middle name and my middle name for middle names on my daughter and son.. So this time it is harder as we have to come up with 2 names.

The names here look good I might pinch one of them, !!

angelbaby - I did think people might be concerned about people 'pinching' thier names, but in the end i thought i don't care, most of you live in different states anyway

Plus everyone has differnt tastes in names, what i love you might hate!

I have picked Rocco for a boy, haven decided on girls names because I am convinced it is a boy. My husband likes Rocco but thinks it might clash with Tyson (our son). What do you all think?

mumma_jessy

I don't think they clash at all! Great mix! Sound differnent, differnent initials.

I knew a family that had 4 kids and all their names ended in an eee sound, weird!

I just realised that I will have to name my bub after a boat or motorbike, because I already have the car and plane

We have only agreed on girls names which is why I think we are having another girl. With my other pregnancies we have focused on either a girls or boys name (not both) and it has turned out to be that sex, so I guess this time shouldn't be any different!!!

For a girl we like:

Millie or Jasmine (with Jade as the middle name)

We haven't really talked about boys names yet. Don't really think I need to though!

But I do like William (shortened to Billy)

we have decided on hamish jonh for a boy or emma elizabeth for a girl.
both first names have speical meanings to us and the middle names are family ones.
we won't be telling any one close to us as there are 7 people in are familes that are already having a babies before us so don't want any one taking them from us.
