How long before tooth is through??

Hi Everyone,

My son, who is just over 7 months old, cut his first tooth last friday. That's when i noticed the split and could feel the sharpness of his first tooth. But how long should it take for the tooth to come through fully?? I just can't wait til it's through!!!! Thanks

Hi Kasey,
They're all different, but i'd say on an average it can take about two weeks, sometimes more. My sons 10 months now and his 6th tooth just cut through, i think theres more coming on the bottom though! But i've found with each tooth, it's taken roughly two weeks for them to come out completely...:)

Hi Nat,

Well it's been 11 days now and still not through!! I can't even see it through the gum, i can still just feel the sharpness! Fingers crossed it doesn't take much longer. I can't wait for it to come through. I'm just so impatient!! It's his right side middle bottom. I think it's called insicor??!! Anyways, hope not much longer!
