My hubby and I were looking at this as one of our possible locations to move to.

We are trying to find a point as far north as we can get that is still a bit cool weather wise (my sister lives near byron bay and my brother in QLD, so we want to be a bit closer).

What are the services and facilities like up there? What is the local hospital like? How many young families live there? What are the locals like?

Would love any help and info anyone has

Hi

I live in Armidale. I love it here. There are lots of young families around and the facilities are great.

The hospital is fine the only problem I have is that everything closes down at about 1pm on a Sunday. I'm originally from Sydney and I'm still struggling to get used to it!!

Glen Innes isn't far from here but I don't know a great deal about it but I can tell you that Armidale is fabulous for small kids and families!

Good luck

I live in Inverell, Have lived in Glen Innes.

Glen Innes isnt as large as Inverell..
But its a cosy little town, and has everything you need.
rentals are rather cheap to.. you can get a lovelly home for $160 a week.

Good luck with the move :D
