Long time clothy (flats). First time fitted.....lol

My mum has put her hand up to attempt to make some fitted's for bubba  . We are going to knock up some practise ones using old towels.....lol. But before she can we need some help, Please!

Where is place to get a fitted nappy pattern?
(preferably an easy one  )
What are the best materials for super absorbant nappies?
Anything else we need to know before we start???

If you search the forum, there was a thread about patterns.. it has links to websites with free patterns, demos etc. A great website where lots of WAHM's who make nappies post is nappychino (don't know if I can link it, but just google it)... that site has a whole section devoted to making nappies.

Most absorbant matierials would have to be bamboo and hemp... I believe you need to order these online though...

I don't sew :o so can't really offer any more help, sorry!!! I'm sure some of the very knowledgable mums here will help, or lead you in the right direction.

If you want to buy a pattern the wee wuns have some good ones  Some pics of my nappies are around the place, I made them from the honey boy pattern, although ended up changing it anyway so I could make pockets.
