It's Up!!!

I know it's a little early but we just couldn't wait any longer...
Our Christmas tree is up - Lukey helped me with the lights :rolleyes: and then Jesse helped decorate. We're very pleased with ourselves!!

That's actually Jesse...Lukey had retired for the evening (putting up the lights took alot out of him...and me!)
After seeing the photo I've decided we need way more lights on that tree...and maybe some really big bows...and some more ornaments...and some more tinsel...:ecomcity: :ecomcity: :ecomcity: k'ching k'ching!

after being hounded by my dd's i put ours up last week...i pulled it down again though...they were expecting presents from everyone:D ....so im going to try and wait a week before xmas so they dont get so excited:laughing: :xmas: :tree:

Im pleased to see im not the only one with their tree up but the thing is mine sat for 2 weeks with nothing on it and now it only has lights on it because DP was making fun of me.:laughing:

Good job !!! :yes: I like the look of xmas tree's that aren't so over the top with colour. We tend to stick to a colour theme like.. red,gold,silver ect.. and change it every year.

I can't wait to put ours up. Unfortunatly we have to put ours up in the enclosed undercover entertainment area outside because the kids can get to it inside and they stick everything in their mouths :(

Bring on the next couple of years or so then we can finally have one inside! :yelclap:

I started out with red & gold and over the years have collected the Hallmark ornaments for each of the boys. Now the tree has alot of J and L's Christmas artwork...not necessarily in keeping with my theme, but gorgeous nonetheless!

Here's our tree..I bought a new one this year and its bigger than I expected...Im not too sure if the playpen is going to fit around it now...:laughing:

Ooh! I'm so jealous! I dont get to put mine up this yr :( cos we wont be here. But I am saving from New Yrs and splurging on a new tree and deccos next yr! So excited!
