I've just started using cloth nappies for home and I can't find a good cover. Nick is a big wetter so can anyone simplify the choices for me and tell me a good minimal leak cover.
I used the traditional plastic pilchers and they were just too wet inside the especially in hot weather.
What do you recommend?

the best covers are generally only available on the internet (or at least thta's the case where i live), though you can make your own pretty easily!
PUL covers are the best alternative to 'plastic pants' some good brands are bummis, motherease and tots bots, they differ from the target ones in that they are made of a breathable 'plastic' (not PVC) and fit better- some do up with velcro (aplix) others with snaps.
fleece covers are also good and easy to make- just two layers of polar fleece- which double repel and keeps moisture out. they can be bulky though.
lanolized wool is amazing- unless you get poo on it it doesn't need washing, you can get knitted soakers (or do your own) or make a cover from a woollen blanket. it breathes really well so is great for summer, but isn't so great for long car trips etc where bubs is sitting in one position for a long time. it does work well for nights though.

nickosmoo,
definitely a PUL cover or a wool cover. PUL is waterproof but at the expense of breathability; the best, in my opinion, is a Motherease Air Flow.
I prefer wool; it's natural, breathable, low maintenance (we wash it once a week, in the machine), and lanolise it every couple of months. We use the Sckoon wool cover.
With either, we've never had a problem, and I highly recomend both.
Not sure if I can list where to get them, just PM me if you want to find out more...
Good luck ;)
Just wanted to add that I like PUL covers too (Airflows are great over flat terry nappies). PUL is breathable but there are many types with some more 'breathable' than others.
Most people who use wool find they don't need to wash often (roughly once every 6 weeks if you have enough on rotation) but need to lanolise after every wash. It is the lanolin that makes them work, washing in detergent strips away the lanolin.
