A number of people have been having problems with the Back Button, seeming not to work, clicking it several times and by the time it does work, you've gone back too many pages.
I have now found out that the problem arises because we have our ads in something called iFrames. The page downloads and then the ads download (in the computer's mind) as separate pages afterwards. When you click the 'back' button, it reloads the ad pages rather than the main page.
Apparently this is quite a common problem with some advances in internet technology causing problems with things that were working OK previously!
To get around this, instead of clicking on the Back Button, click on the down arrow to the right of the back button. This will give you a list of the pages that you have most recently visited. They are usually in order with the most recent being at either the top or the bottom of the list (depending on your set-up) In some cases, the ads will show up on the list, with an address of something like ad.uk.doubleclick and lots of numbers. In this case, ignore this link and go back to the most recent proper page. In other cases, the ads will not appear on your list at all.
A permanent solution is not easy to find, a number of internet gurus around the world have been trying, but I hope the above will help in the meantime.
