Ok so as we know i have been having trouble working out when to have a baby shower.. and i think i have come to the conclusion that we will have one but just something small and something that isnt going to be too much for me in this silly weather...
so here is my dilemma mum and dad are taking my sisters to the witsundays on the 24th of dec and coming back 31st of dec (lucky buggers) and we move into our lovely new house (start to move in) the 27th of dec..
so when is a good time? and is is it too close to christmas to be worring about one or should we just all be patient and leave it till bub comes and have a "meet the baby shower"?

Why dont you have it mid January?
ou'll have had time to sort your new house out, xmas is over and done with (well apart from the bills from it that is) and you will be settled in and unpacked.

If it were me thats when i would have it.

Yer I'd go with Mid Jan - I know I wouldn;t have been up for having a house full of people for an arvo with a newborn ...

i think that a meet the baby shower is a great idea. thats what ill be doing with this one since im not finding out the sex. i love baby showers, but having one in such a rush isnt going to be any good for you. its alot to organise even a small get together in the end of the pregnancy, and then atleast you'll know the sex of bub for sure, the size that he/she is in, and everything that you need, dont have etc.

I was going to do a meet the baby shower, cause I couldn't find a clear day in December, not helped by the fact that my SIL is due early Feb and got in early for a December baby shower. Mum and I found a clear afternoon on our calendars and decided on December 17th. If people can't come, then oh well, but I'm sure at least a few people will be able to come. Now all I have to do is make the invites and send them out. Yes, I'm doing it myself - mum is away til later in the week, and I'm sending out the invites for my SIL's shower, so the two invites will go together :)

definately mid january.. the last thing you'll want with a new bub is a house full of people..
personally i hated visitors other than family and really close friends. even then it was like "times up seeya"
