Just dropped into give you all the great new Firstbub ( Jenn ) had her little boy Yesterday at 12:12pm weighting 9lbs all is well and they are home resting.

Congratulations Jenn & Mario and Connor on the birth of little Caleb

Diesal - I hope your baby decides to come soon. Waiting sucks. If it makes you feel any better, if I do by my last period my EDD would have been the 22nd of October, but an dating scan set it at the 30th. All I keep saying to myself at the moment is this is the last Thursday that I will be pg, this is the last Friday I will be pg... At least we know we have provided a nice home for our babies for the last 9 months and they don't want to get out!!!

Just wanted to wish you Sare all the best and with and luck that bubs will come naturally tonight. If not a big GOOD LUCK for tomorrows induction. Hope all goes well after you have also waited so long.

Hi Ladies

I would like to annouce the arrival of my baby boy -

JAYDEN MARK arrived by c-section on Monday 30 October 2006 weighing a solid 9 lb 7oz and 54.5 cm long. Certainly a big boy who is very healthy. :smiliedance:

After a review by the OB on Monday morning 30 October (due date was 25 October) we were booked in for a c-section that afternoon as she said that the cervix was not favourable at all and the baby was not engaging at all. I was also having a fair amount of pain and swelling and my BP was higher.

Turns out that Jayden had his arm stuck across the top of his head, creating a block to him dropping into the pelvis. Fortunately the c-section was the method of delivery as he would not have been able to come out naturally even if I had gone into labour.

The c-section was a very emotional experience, lots of people in the operating room and all very busy.

Jayden was pretty settled for the week in hospital and now we are home we need to recreate the home routine with all the new smells and sounds in our house.

Best wishes to all those still waiting for their babies to arrive. It has all certainly been a very emotional and tiring experience but I wouldn't trade it for anything, Jayden is just so beautiful.

Well it looks like an induction tomorrow. We've got a public holiday in Melb on Tuesday, which means I'm going to try and persuade our family and friends to wait until then to visit (I remember how overwhelming it all was after I had dd).

Well i will say hello.... but it wont be to anyone coz i am officially the last october mum standing... By now sare should be having her induction and mine will be either tomorrow or wednesday. I must say i am disappointed that it has come to an induction but i guess in the scheme of things its not so bad..
