Hi
Has anyone had problems with snugglers nappies? I just bought a box to try them, every time I put one on my baby boy he screams and screams for an hour unconsolably! And when he does wet the nappy, at least half of the time it fills up and leaks straight away! Huggies were always fine but are so expensive and babylove and the coles home brand nappies react badly with his skin.
Is it just that I'm putting them on wrong (though I have tried to do it better!) or that I've got a size too big for him?
It fits around the waist but around his legs isn't a snug fit at all, infact its quite loose.
Any ideas? Thanks girls!

I personally will never use snugglers - not because they are a bad nappy but because the shape doesn't fit well with my sons shape. He always pees out of them also. Its just something you have to play with - finding the perfect disposable nappy.
I find huggies are the best but as they are expensive I only use them at night and I buy in bulk when they are on special.
Of a day I use babylove - my son will pee out of them if left on too long but of a day thats not problem - I just change nappies more often.

I've never had any probs with snugglers. Maybe they're leaking coz they are too big. Are You puting them on too tight? If you are that might explain the crying?! Other than that I don't know.
Good luck

I'm not a fan of the snugglers either! Wish i hadn't got the big box!!! Mags got her first bit of nappy rash ever when I used them and she also leaked! So they have gone in the cupboard for emergancies! I love Huggies they fit great and we've never had a mess whiile wearing one. Just wish they weren't as expesive. Another mum actually got me onto nappies from ALDI, they are pretty good you get around 55 for $16, they fit great, no red botty and no leaks so far. I've only been using them during the day and Huggies at night, although Mags seems to do all her nappy dirtying during the day!

I know of people who find snugglers great but for me they are a waste of money, what you save on the nappies you end up paying for in washing powder and treatment creams for rashes etc... I just buy Huggies now, they cost a lot but they are great, and I've recently discovered aldi brand nappies are great for during the day.. reasonably priced too ;)

For those who suggested Aldi nappies, why only during the day?

Because they are good but huggies are great! I'd rather be safe than sorry and who wants to change a cot in the middle of the night!?

I used to always use ALDI nappies and never had one leak. I have had to change as they now don't fit my ds very well. I have changed to Woolies ones. I have only used them for one night and they have already leaked.
Snugglers gave my guy nappy rash straight away. I brought one of those huge boxes and ended up giving them to charity.
Oh well, back to huggies I go.

I use My Bear nappies from a delivery service on the Gold Coast. They are fantastic and no where near the price of Huggies.
I have twins and found them great for day and night. No leaks and none of that gel stuff etc on their bums. They have not gotten any rash and they fit great.
I got mine from Care Express www.careexpress.com.au and got free delivery here on the Gold Coast.
I've also tried BabyLove which are good but I find these are even better.
Cheers

I havent had any problems with snugglers at all. I am using the 6-11kg ones for my baby and not one problem yet.
I found that even Huggies would leak if too big or not put on properly. Snugglers are LOTS cheaper though. :)

My personal favourite brand is Comfy ultra soft which I found in a nappy warehouse shop in Penrith.
The brand is from Argentina they are not as soft as Huggies but they hold more wee :D .
I had a leakage problem with Snugglers too, and I found they bunched up heaps, (I think this lead to the leakage not the fit).
My only issue is with petrol prices at the moment it is cheaper for me to buy huggies on special rather than drive 1 hour to a nappy warehouse on the other side of Sydney, oh well.

Actually I've heard Snugglers aren't so flash on girls, but great on boys!?

I used Snugglers for my little girl and am now using them for my little boy. Have bought the 6-11kgs - box of 105 for $24!! Much cheaper than Huggies. Haven't had any problems with them yet.

hi.. i have been using snugglers mostly.. only cause they have been on special and its rather expensive to buy huggies all the time, (i do try to use huggies for night they work really well,) though my youngest girl is a big weeer so i dont have much luck these days, just have to change more often! i do also use coles brand, they arnt too bad, cheap enough, also have used babylove., they are ok for day.. but really bad at night for me anyway! wish i could get some other nappy for night, but unavailabe here and it would cost the earth to get some from another state, so im having to stick with either woolworths or coles to get my nappies these days! :) alwell, maybe i will have to start using huggies more... they cost so much though!!
