Im not sure if this is realted at all but i have had my implanon in for just over a year now. I never got a period at all with it it. The only time i had a little bleed was when i went on anti'ds.

So i have had no period at all for over a year... but the last two weeks i have been constantly bleeding. WHen it first started out i was gettting bad cramps like period but the bleeding hasnt been to heavy. IT has been going from medium to light to nothing back to light to nothing to medium etc etc... and this has been going on for the last 2 weeks. Not a howl lot of blood actually comes out but when you wipe(tim sorry) you get a fair bit then. I have also had a few little clots and alot of streaky mucusy stuff.(tmi again sorry). Now i am really hoping that this isnt anything to do with the implanon because i love having it in as i dont have to remember anything and i hate the pill.

Has anyone else ever had anything like this or if it was to do with the inplano has anyone been able to fix it our do they just have to take the inplant out?

I would DEFINATELY see your doctor- that sounds strange. I dont have one, but from the symptoms that youve described it sounds like your hormones are definately playing up. Hope you get better soon. Let us know how you go. :hugs:

I had this with Implanon and so did my friend - Our doctors just said remove them.

Go to your doctor and get it all checked out.

:) Hi I had the implanon for about 12 months and only had a bit of spotting at first,I also really liked having it.I would probably go to the doctors though as it does seem strange.Could it be perhaps as you haven't had a period for so long that everything is coming out now?(sorry if sound nosey)I know some women with it do get their periods(I did) and some don't so maybe you are just starting to get them again and there has been a build up?It does sound hormonal.
