Upside Down Christmas Tree

Yes they do exist and are all the rage in the USA, so naturally we can buy then here now! Anyone getting one? I am contemplating it, (to annoy MIL mostly :devil6: ) they are easier to decorate and you can fit more presents underneath!

I saw them at Kmart the other day and I dunno..... it just looks soooooo weird..... like an upside down Christmas tree :P

I think it will just be a fad.... I'm sticking to my upright :tree: Chrissy tree.....

I dont like them... when i first saw them i thought they did it up the wrong way just so they could fit more trees on display. I didnt actually realise they were SUPPOSED to look like that. Not the greatest idea in my books but hey some people might like the change.

I saw one in the K-Mart catalogue today and thought they were butt ugly. I'd rather have one of the pretty pink trees you can get now.

Me and DH saw it in the catelogue and were like WTF!

We didnt know how someone could buy one...no offence.

Looks like the most ridiculous thing and we were joking that people would come over and say "I think you kind of put your tree back to front"!

I just followed the link you posted and it says that the origin of the christmas tree is that it points up to heaven so if you turn it upside down.....


Apart from that I personally find them a bit strange looking. I am a sucker for tradition though :yes: :tree:

i am getting a new tree at the sales after xmas so we will have it for next year, we only just brought a new tree. but im getting the hot pink one hehehe. gotta luv it.
