what date is your tree going up

DS birthday is on november 25th one month before xmas i was thinking of making it sumthing specail we can do every yr on his birthday " put the tree up together" but not sure if thats to early..

Mine will be goingup on the 1st.... thats if i am aloud to put it up. I wasnt last year as dh didnt see the point as ds1 was only 2.5 and ds2 was 3 months. Plus the fact that it is a HUGE tree and takes up half our lounge room. We have to pull one couch back so its half in the dinning room (townhouses:banghead: ).I really want to put it up this year as ds1 is very excited about christmas this year and i think its the first year that he has really understood. Its only gonna be in the eay for a month and i think its worth it.

Might just put my foot down and say its going up:xmas:

About December 13.....we don't have much space plus Matthew will more than likely pull it down again.

If I had my way, it would go up on December 24 and come down on December 26th......I get tired of saying "don't touch" every 5mins for 3wks.

If I had the room I'd do it, lol. But lil dude has just discovered that if he drags a chair around the house, he can reach high things and climb on and over things, so it probably wouldn't work.

Ours is going up on the weekend of the week first in Dec. Some trees are up around our house too.
Sometimes those fences don't work my friends 3 yr old ate a christmas light glass and all. So then they had the tree but no deorations on it.:fingerscrossed: I will have a good year Ds1 was 1 1/2 last year and never touched it or he got in big trouble, he is now 2 1/2 and understands much more about christmas, he's already saying Ho Ho Ho merry crismas to everyone we pass cause he saw Santa.:xmas:

I'm aiming for the 1st of December too. I'm so excited - we have a new tree and everything :reindeer:

DH is usually the original Bah Humbug Scrooge when it comes to Christmas. We didn't even have a tree last year.

But as this is Sarah's first Christmas he actually dragged me into the store and he picked out a SEVEN FOOT tree! Actually he picked out a 12' tree and I said no, unless he was going to cut a hole in the ceiling to make it fit...

And he's going to let me get some new decorations for it and everything.

I don't know what the aliens did with the old DH, but I don't want him back :laughing: I like the new one better :xmas:

normally 1st december, this year it is not going up. The decision has been made. We might buy a tiny little one and have that somewhere in the house instead, you know the 30cm pre-decorated ones lmao.... I have decided when moving house a week before christmas I do NOT need the stress of putting it up, unpacking it all, keeping the kids away from it.... etc!

My christmas tree goes up on the 1st December but it never looks very pretty cause of little hands touching everything, everything always ends up at the top of the tree, my kids who are 3 and 2 just dont understand the concept of look but dont touch.
