Just wondering if the rest of you are taking your measurements and taking photos weekly/monthy to see the progress of your pregnancies.

:o If you cant already tell, im just a little bit excited and this is also my 1st so im really excited to see how things develop.

IF you are i thought we could all share photos and stats here??

Ok well I just posted my first pic in my diary but I can put it here too. Thats a good idea Deevine I was thinking of doing the same thing had you not done it first!!
It will be really cool to see how every one grows!!
I am 58kgs atm and feel like about 100kgs though!
Here is me today at 3-4 weeks preggers not much to look at yet, just the remainder of my pouch from where Xavier stretched my tummy ( I'm sucking it in ).

I have vowed not to weigh myself this pregnancy, it ends up being all you think about when you already feel fat and horrible, and i can work off whatever i gain after this bub!

But i will post pics when i have them, i plan on taking my first one tomorrow morning (6 weeks) then one every week after that (even after the birth, to shock people!)

I COMPLETELY agree with you. I don't want to become weight obsessed with this pregnancy (Well i'll try anyway :rolleyes: )

BUT I will put up a pic of my belly as soon as I get a chance! (you've tempted me)

Its the skirt :p actually I do have a little tummy (not pregnancy bump:o), although I can usually hide it well :D

Hmmm...well I don't think people will notice that I'm pregnant for quite a while yet cos I'm a bigger gal (so you're not getting any measurements from me!)...maybe way down the track you might get a piccy out of me but I'm not even so sure on that....I'm not a skinny wee thing like it sounds like some of you are!! Hey there, everyone is looking good!!
Well I just weighed myself today and I came in at........... 58kgs, nuthin exciting here!
I was that weight at my first weigh in, but I did lose 2kgs when I had Gastro last week so my bod is still catching up, don't worry the weight will pile on!

Hi I think this is a great idea! I'll take one at 3 months (26 Dec) and try and post it if I can work out the technology.

I'm feeling HUGE already which is quite depressing, and at 10 weeks can't do up my jeans any more. I've gained about 3 lb but feel like I've gained 3 kilos. Anyone else having clothing problems this early? I thought it would be Ok til 3-4 months!

Ive stuck to wear all long singlet tops with alot of stretch and empire line dresses. I went to a girls night xmas party on sat and no one knows Im pregnant yet so I had to wear a dress that no one would be able to tel!!!

Hey TJ, your are starting to develop some shape there aren't ya hehe how cute!! Oh I can't wait to see some big baby bumps in the next few months!!

I will post a pic soon if I can be bothered I'm so lazy right now, I dont think I am changing much atm, maybe it will happen all of a sudden when I'm not expecting it.
I am 8weeks today 57kgs, yes lighter than pre preg weight, I am doing the opposite to what prego women are doing it is getting me a little concerned?!?! Maybe I am paranoid, but I might see my doc if I dont start to at least regain my weight a little in the next couple of weeks, it's not like I have been :barf: or anything so it's weird.
I haven't weighed 57kgs since I had Xavier (20months old)!!:eek:

I have only lost weight so far this pregnancy as well, i have lost 3kg's but i think that in the first trimester weight gain or loss of up to 3kg is considered normal so i'm not stressing, i'm sure i'll put it back on soon :laughing:

Aw everyones tummys are starting to pop out! I love this stage.

I still havent put on any weight but I look and feel alot bigger than I did a few weeks ago.

Weight - I have lost 6kg since i found out i was preggers, (also a twin sign) This pregnancy is definately different than with Zac, i did lose alot of weight with Zac in the 1st trimester but i was so sick for 4wks i couldn't eat, this time i am really good, haven't been sick yet, just really tired.

I am 56kgs now down another notch, but am feeling less like:barf: today so maybe the weight will start to go back on soon.

You have to bear in mind that ALL pregnancies are different. In subsequent pregnancies it is not unusual for a lady to show earlier. Also, with M/S I was so sick with my eldest boy that I lost 8 kilos with the twins I lost 2 kilos. Intrigued to know how losing 6 kilos without any morning sickness can be regarded as a 'twin sign'. There is no twin signs or symptoms sorry to say, just speculation on the so called norm of twin pregnancies. Every pregnancy is different. Really hoping all the best for you though. :fingerscrossed:

56kgs this week no more weight loss so thats good. Boobs are stilll sore as though, my nipples arevery red and tender.
m/s has faded out alot in the past few days, to the point where I only feel queazy now not full on wanting to :barf: puke all the time so I think the worst of it has past :fingerscrossed:

I find that I feel quite bloated som evenings and look like I have a tummy, then by the morning it has gone down again and I dont have tum anymore!

Ok heres me at 15weeks looking slightly bigger again this week. Definately feeling bigger now.

Weight this morning is 55.5kgs so a little heavier maybe, I ate a huge bowl of porridge this morning so that helped lol!!

Wow you girls at 18weeks are really looking preggers now. I got my weekly pregnancy email yesterday and it said bubs will double in size between weeks 16-19 so I can see that in comparing your earlier pics to now.
I am expecting to see some major growth from my own tum in the next two weeks or now, bubs feels bigger and kicks higher in my tum everyday, my uterus is getting closer to reaching the height of my belly button, gosh it happens so quickly doesn't it!:eek:

Looking great girls!! Bel you might have an average sized baby yet , you just dont know your tum could be all fluid, it's so nice to actually look pregnant now though isn't it? As opposed to looking like I have eaten a pie too many lol!
I got my pregy email this morning and it told me I will have gained 5-6kgs by now!! I was thinking um that sounds alot I have gained a grand total of 1.5kgs!!
I know, I know, don't worry about the weight.
Still I am going to talk to my doc just to be sure as this time last pregnancy I had gained nearly 5kgs, so I am actually lighter now than I was this time last pregnancy, not what I expected at all!

Too true TJ some of us are high and low or all over the show, ha I'm a poet!!
My little man is carrying exactly the same as my last pregnancy. He is quite low and the highest kick I have felt so far is about two inches above my belly button so I haven't had the pleasure of rib cage kicks yet, but I know they will come as he runs out of room! Even though I carried low with Xavier he still used to wedge a foot on the outside of my rib cage so you could actually make out the shape of his foot it was a little freaky!

Week 27! :eek: Only 13 to go (12 if it's like my others) I can't beleive how fast it has gone this time.

My belly has grown even more, my god i feel like i can't stretch anymore already, but i know i have no choice and this belly will get even bigger, yep it's possible!

Julie you have a nice little bump now, make me look huge! I do tend to have big babies though, DS was 9lb 1oz and DD was 8lb 7oz, wonder how much this one will weigh??

8kgs is great TJ only 12weeks to go so you are doing well, alot of people gain way more than that!
I have regained all the weight I lost in the first trimester + 1extra kilo now so a total of 6kgs. If I am the same as last pregnancy I have 3-4 more kilos to gain till full term, bring it on!

Think i win with the biggest belly still though, starting to worry about how big my bubba will be, even though it think she is smaller than the others were at this stage... who knows! Guess i'm just one of those people who just shows, really really obviously :laughing:

Belly seems to have shrunk a little this week, she must have turned a bit, yay!

I guess it's hard to get a real idea of size in pictures but I don't think you look overly big MJ, I reckon it's a good normal size for 28 weeks, but then what is normal lol? There are so many shapes and sizes and all considered normal!

I think MJ your belly is so petite!! As lilxman said it's all to do with the photo and even clothing! I noticed with the other ladies that have got lil bumps they are further away from the camera where your bump is close up! Makes a lot of difference.

Chenico ~Your lil man is growing isn't he!! I also didn't want to show my bump because everyone elses is sooo small and mine was just out there!! My belly button has even popped! I think all bumps big or small are gorgeous and I think you will do well with the comp!!

Mine is soo hairy im surprised it hasnt grown legs as well and turned into a little creature.
there is fine blonde hair all over it, but im definitely getting a dark snail trail happening!!

TJ I have the fine hair thing going on too! DF laughs coz hes REALLY hairy (hes greek) and he reckons I'll end up like him. It happened with DS too then when I gave birth it all fell out.

meljellybean your belly is a lot like mine! you must be all baby too with not much fluid? everyone tells me it looks like i have a soccer ball stuffed under my shirt, and the middie said my baby angel is only about 2cm below the surface which is why i feel so much bone all the time jutting out. where in bris are you having bubs?

mumma jessy your tummy is teeny i def wouldn't think you'd have the biggest bubba belly, but then regardless of the size of belly, it doesnt determine the size of baby so small bellies can have HUGE babies if there isnt much fluid and vice versa. I just cant wait to see what size our babies are and see if belly sizes have any indication...

lollydove yeah im not carrying any extra water this time, so it's all out front!
I feel every little tiny movement that bub does, it so fun playing with little tiny feet!
Im having bubs at RBWH Birth Centre this time, had DD at Caboolture.

It's the bestest name isnt it!....lol. It took us about three weeks to work out the best spelling for her (my mums a Numerologist/Graphologist) needless to say lots of variations flying around...cant wait to do it again with this bubs! :eek:

Thanks Niki I got it when I was 15, a friend and I skipped class and went to have tats done:shame: Not a very good job though, but then we walked in our school uniforms and had it done so you can imagine it wasn't the highest quality tattoo parlour in town lol!!

bel_aiden dotn worry to much about the measurement hun, it is very easy for them to be inaccurate. :hugs: i know what you mean about having a tight and sore tummy, sometimes im almost in tears with the pain.

thanks niki, im not too worried about it, as the same thing happend with ds. it is a mixture of big baby and ALOT of fluid lol. with ds i had borderline polyhydramnios (sp) but i think i got it a little worse this time... just have to get use to the "oh not long to go?" comments :laughing:

Your belly pics look great - my belly is quite pale too in comparison to the rest of my olive greek skin! We look about the same size all over by the way but my belly button has never popped! (probably coz I had FAR too much of a spare tyre to begin with that it was just so far embedded! LMAO!)

Chenicimo ~ My belly button has probably popped because my muscles have split in the middle of my tummy. So all the baby is just right there, I can feel every part of her body in that section! I remember my first not one stretch mark untii I got to 36weeks and then BAM they just appeared all over the place. That was the end of my very nice 6 pack!! I don't really care about the stretch marks coz I am not really wanting to rush out in a midrif and my hubby loves me to bits!! Besides I can show the kids what they did to me just like my mother did with us!!:D

I was the same - no stretch marks with #1 until about 34 weeks and then they were EVERYWHERE but I had basically NO belly! The marks I have now are just the ones from the 1st preg and arn't red at all, just a pale pink/silver. Ah well, I'm the same - no bikini's for me! LOL!

I still have old stretchies but Ive been using bio oil and its doing a great job of both preventing new ones and hiding the old. I still can see them but they arent dark or red at all. Very faint and just looks like my skin is stretched out lots.

as for stretch marks, who cares lol, theyl eventually fade! i got em on my hips, thighs n boobs.. didnt get them til the last few weeks of my other pregnancy... my belly got away unmarked though.. dunno if it will this time as it already so huge! but hopefully the fluid stops increasing!

i was looking at my scans with ds and he was 1.66kg at 30 weeks, and i have a scan on monday wen il be 30 weeks too.. be interesting to see if this bubba is smaller or bigger!!

Yep mine is just getting heavy and jumping up and down with bubs movement more now as opposed to getting bigger and bigger. My full term belly wasnt very big last time anyway, so I dont think it is going to be very big this time, it is really tight with not alot of fluid just alot of baby lol!!
