I had a brainwave today! All my friends that have had babies with sleeping problems have sweet toothes and ate lots of chocolate during their pregnancy (including me in the last trimester!).

Does my theory hold up? What do you think?

Haha, could do! :p.

I LOVE my sweets and DS is a shocking sleeper.

My mum told me that if you drank lots of soft drink, you will have a hyper baby (Probably an old wives tale, but geeez my DS is full on! :)).

Yep, I'm guilty too! Chocolate was a pregnancy staple for me!

Is that why my child never sleeps?!? I ate soo much chocolate during my pregnancy with Summer and she is a bad sleeper, I didn't know it was the chocolates fault

Couldnt keep food down half the time due to hyperemesis but when i did it always varied from salads to iced tea to chicken.
Boof hardly slept through the day or nite for the first 4mths.
So the theory doesnt work here.

I had a sweet tooth in both pregnancies and i have one good sleeper and one bad sleeper. You didnt have 2 options so i couldnt vote for both.

I practically lived on chocolate and just about anything else sweet I could get my hands on and DD has been sleeping through from about 8weeks!

I think it comes down to the individual baby.
