Hi.

I'm sorry if I don't actually belong in this section. I don't know if I'm having a miscarriage but have been spotting brown blood for 4 days. It is ever so slightly getting heavier but nothing at all like a period (no pad needed). If I was still getting AF it would be the time for it.

I would just like to know if somebody out there has had spotting for so long and had a positive outcome.

Once again I apologise if I am in the wrong section.

i would go straight to the dr to get it checked out. I did have bleeding for about a week then it stopped then i had another bleed about 2 weeks later and now i am 21 weeks pregnant so they dont know what caused mine.. how many weeks are you? as if you go to the dr they should be able to refer you to get a scan to check everything out....

goodluck hope all goes ok..

I had several episodes of spotting brown/pink during my first trimester, some lasted for up to 4 days. I'm now 28 weeks and all seems good.

As the others have said it's best to see your doctor or hospital staright away to find out the cause. :hugs: Hope everything is ok

I bled from the 6 week to 12 week mark every single day with this pregnancy.

It was brown blood, no pad or panty liner needed, it was just when I wiped and the occasional long bit of brown cervical mucous.

I was scaned at 6 weeks and 7 weeks, baby was fine, heart beating etc. I was very nervous at the 12 week scan but bub was fine.

And now I am 17 weeks and 1 day and can feel my baby kicking me as I type.

I would go to the doc definitly and ask for a scan. Demand a scan if they dont suggest one, but I think most doctors are pretty good and would order you one without you even asking.

:fingerscrossed: your baby is all ok.

Hi Missymoos, spotting is scary :hugs:

Similar to Mikeswifey, I had brown spotting continuously from week 5 to week 11, and am now 22 weeks pg.

There can be millions of causes of spotting in pregnancy, some of which unfortunately mean the end of the pregnancy and some of which do not - like everyone else has said, go see your GP and get referred for a scan so you can find out. \

Best of luck to you :hugs:

Hi missymoos,
I had continous bleeding with my first every month and still gave birth to a healthy baby boy.
With all things like this GO TO DOCTOR and get it checked out.
:fingerscrossed: everything is OK.
:hugs:
