You arent far from me at all. I only had my first meet yesterday with bubhubbers but didnt feel completely comfortable as they were all in their 20's and felt a bit old. DS was also a bit older than their kids the youngest was 10mths.

would love to meet you sometime are you going to the november meet next week or we can meet in blacktown or parramatta one day.

 hi Lucy

nice to meet you would love to catch up with you sometime. I am often around parramatta westfield if you want to catch up or I might be able to get to castle hill if I can get a nice bus over.

Would be good to go as a group to one of the big meets and know that there are other mums our own age as well.

Do you have any other ideas where we could meet.

Hello, can I join in too? Monday afternoons are good for me. I have mother group to midday then free the rest of the afternoon! I am in Bella Vista. Mel and I met up before Christmas and I really enjoyed it. I only have a 3 1/2 month old so don't care where we head to. You girls may know of a place good for kids. Even if we don't sit at a coffee shop. I am happy to take a blanket and sit in a park and chat.

Popchex (Renee) might also join us, she is close by as well.

Cheers

Hi ladies, just PM'd you....

Yes mel I got your e-mail. Only just starting to get back into the swing of things. Been a hectic few weeks. I have vowed from yesterday that I will use the mornings as my bub hub time, until Jordan wakes for the next feed! yes he is a chubby chops! We call him buddha!

thanks Kaja for the compliments on Jordan. We think he is pretty cute, but then we are biased!

I look forward to meeting up with you both on Monday. I will PM my mobile number through as well, as if it is a hot day as well it might be better inside the mall instead of outside in the heat.

What do you think?

Catch you soon!

I should be there, depending on when it is. I haven't seen a thread yet? Or maybe I just missed it...
I know the not-official early feb one will probably be when I'm in Melbourne. :(

Hey Kylie,

Did you want to meet up on Monday 26 Feb? I have mothersgroup on Mondays until 12 Feb so can't really do Mondays until then. Mondays are good as Mel can also join us.

As for a place - I don't mind. Jordan is not interested in play things so up for suggestions. I can travel anywhere!

Let me know if 26 Feb is any good.

Hi Lucy72

Im ok to go on monday 26 but will not have Harley with me he is in daycare mondays and tuesdays. Would still like to meet its still nice to catch up with other mums especially my age.

maybe if y know a good park to go to if its a good day othere wise I dont know alot of places to take the kids apart from shopping centres. Parramatta estfield has a couple of kids areas that I knowHarley loves and the kids can go in and out at heir own leisure depending how old they are. I also know there are playcentres inside seven hills shoppig centre which the shopping is a bit crabby and castle towers but cant remember the name or what level in castle towers i think it was the top level

Hi Kylie,

Okay we will meet up on 26 Feb. If anyone is interested PM me and I will forward details. Kylie, will PM you to discuss meeting places as my bub is too young for any play areas and not sure on any "child" friendly ones.

Cheers

Yeah Kylie, Kayne thought it was cool, poor Harley hope he's recovered from that incident. OK so wherever you choose is good for us. I just need to get organised before 10 o'clock.
Won't be able to go the big meet as I work on Thurs.

See you there,

Hey there ladies! Sorry I've been so quiet - I'm recovering from some computer issues that made any computer time difficult. I'm up for the 26th and if you're still looking for a place, I have a new book called Sydney for Under Fives that I can look through for the area if you want?

Just let me know what ages we're looking at. :)

This is the thread,

http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/forums/showthread.php?t=64705

But if you go to the general NSW part:
http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=2

the newest meets are posted at the bottom of the page. The March one is already being discussed!
There are adult only meets too - I haven't been yet as we don't know many people here and nobody Ben knows enough to leave with. :(
Might have to leave DH home one night and just go though! lol

Ugh I'm going to have to miss this one ladies. While I was in Melbourne my mum's group decided to change the days we meet to Mondays and until I checked my calendar I didn't realise this was on a Monday. *sigh*
Unfortunately I have to go to the other one because I need to get something from one of them, plus my husband is working near where we meet, so I'd have to drop him off, go meet up with all of you, then go back to where he is for lunch.

:gloomy::(

Hopefully we can get another meet going that I can make before I leave for Adelaide in a few months!
