I use little swimmers all the time for my son and think they are great, never had any probs with them......
I used them a couple of times with DD1 only b/c I was given a pack. I have not bought any since. I think they are a waste of money. They only catch the poop, and DD never pooped in the pool. You can buy swimmer pants from target and the likes, they act the same only you can re-use them hundreds of times!
Much better for the environment!

Ive used them and dont really like thme, much prefer the swim pants from target that u just wash and reuse. I would never reuse little swimmers, they arent made to be reused they are a disposable nappy :S
i was wondering what these were like aswell. i saw a kid in what i assumed was one last summer and when he came out of the water the nappy was hanging down around his knees, it looked like it had soaked up water or something.

I prefer the disposable little swimmers to the reusable ones for two reasons
- despite being a mother for over 16 months now I still really don't like poo, call me an environmental nazi if you like but I like to be able to throw it away without looking at it (I am super water conscious, pretty energy efficient and have lots of trees if that helps....)
- I find it easier to get the little swimmers off and on and anything that reduces change table tantrums is a winner for me. While the little man was compliant no problems with putting the reusables on and off, but once it became a battle I happily take the path that avoids a confrontation (especially given I'm not fussed on poo or dealing with it while I'm wet and freezing).

i use huggies little swimmers for swimming lessons and i think they are great but i jst went out and got 2 pairs of the reuseable ones for our pool for summer this yr and for my holiday is 17 days:smiliedance:
I bought little swimmers before I knew you could get swim nappies.
I think the little swimmers are fine and I rinse and reuse them again twice.
Word of warning, wee just goes straight through so don't put them on thinking they will soak it up. That is don't put the nappy on until you get to the pool otherwise you might have a wet car seat
When the pack is gone I am going to use swim nappy, better for the environment, cheaper and just as easy to use. :)
Sorry, off topic, but does anyone know what the largest size,in kg's,that the little swimmers come in?
I could only find mediums,I think it was, 11-15 kilos, and DD is a bit over, don't think they will fit her.We start swimming next week and would like to try them.

I'm not sure how long they are on sale for, but they had them in Toys'R'Us yesterday for $9.95!
I found a bigger size at Coles today. They are for 14 kgs plus.

We use the huggies little swimmers ones with nemo on them.

I love the way they dont fill up with water and weigh down.

I use then with both my boys and i love them. They dont puff up like nappies would and if you are in a hurry to undress bub you can just rip it straight off.
You can also reuse them if you take them off and dry them out. I think they are great for when bub is little and dosnt really fit and swimmers.

I was given some by a friend and they've worked fine for Sarah. We use them for swimming lessons and public pools.
We rinse, dry and reuse too. We haven't has any problems doing that so far.
At home in her little shell pool she just wears her togs. She probably doesn't really need to wear them... but she just looks so cute in them!!
