If bubs is with you all the time - the only thing I can think of is regular walking every day - for at least an hour..
Anything else is going to require you to be away from bubs.
Swimming is a good option especially when you have arthritus - but no good if you dont have someone to babysit.
I have it in my neck, knees and toes.. so I know how frustrating it is.

osteo or rhuematoid?
I had rhuematoid for several years (I have been in remission for about 2 years now) and I used to go to the hospital for hydrotherapy...
They have a lovely heated pool there and physical therapists who would look after me and my sessions. I went through the public system, and everything was provided for free.
Hi Suemp. I am sorry to hear about your recent diagnosis. Its great that you want to exercise as it's the best thing you can do to improve your condition. Alot of Physio and pilates studios have mum and bubs sessions. This type of exercise can still get your heart rate up and is very low impact so not damaging or stressful on your joints. If a physio is running your pilates session you are able to claim that on your health insurance (if you have it). Check with your local maternal health centre as well because a few of them run mums and bubs walking sessions. Best of luck and I hope this helps!
