I am 41 but today at work my 2nd in charge, who is 21 didn't believe me when I told her I was 41. She asked me if I was really 41?!! She thought I was about 36. Then I told her she would have been aged 2 when I got married (married 19 years today) :D

Also, when I went to have my DD 6 months ago, the midwife asked if I knew what I was having and when I said I'd had an amnio and knew it was a girl, she asked why I'd had an amnio  When I told her due to age, I got the strangest look and she said...you're not that old are you - amnio are only recommended for ladies over 35 :o I also told her I'd got kicked out of home at the age of 15 and she told me I didn't look like I'd come off the street :p

Don't you wonder what goes through some people's head when they find out you are really an older mum of toddlers and/or a baby?

Shaz, here in Murray Bridge, 41 is the average age of a grandmother!

Lucky you for looking so young!!

Hmmmm. I dont know......maybe the strange look is the shock that your a number..chronologically which doesnt fit your physical appearance.
Maybe they think 'woah 41.....she looks 35.......?'
Who'd know. People are very strange creatures. If your 16 pushing a pram you upset half of the population...if your 52..you upset the other half.
What the heck SHOULD 41 look like anyway?.
O's mom.

So much so that there are signs all over the medical clinic "attention teenage mums" for playgroups, information sessions, toy things, you name it - all for teenage mums. I reckon I'm the oldest mum here! I do want the house prices to go up though - our house is going on the market in the next day or so - HURRAH!!!

I know! I remember going to see it when I was a kid and running and hiding behind dads leg. Dh and I went and saw it last year and I remember thinking 'lame'.
