Hi,
We are gettin married on the 31st of March 2007!!! Cant wait, a little scary though as there is so much to do. We live on a farm 5 hours from Adelaide (where the wedding is) so it has been tricky organising things from here. We dont have kids yet but im on this site as we cant wait and are finding everything out so we can ttc in 2007.
At the moment it is all the finer details like what music to play, what readings to have. Everything was booked 14 months before the wedding so now it is just the little things, slowly getting there.

Cheers,
Emma

I think it depends if you were wanting silk or fresh flowers?? I went for silk flowers and i got them organised and delivered about 6 months ago now lol and have had them stored in my bedroom cupboard with tissue paper covering them  I would be ringing around a few places now as it can't hurt and the florist may be able to give you a time frame that you need to get your order in by??

I ordered my package from a lady that sells on ebay. I had them made up in the colours and the flowers i wanted (Navy blue lillies and Cream roses) and it only cost me $80 for 5 bridesmaids, a bridal bouquet, 5 buttonholes and a throw away bouquet:thumbsup:

MOST florists say just the week before, enough time to let them get the order for the flowers in.. BUT.. can I suggest..

Do it asap cos wedding flowers are expensive..

1 Bride
2 Maids
1 flowergirl
1 green fern halo
6 buttonholes
2 corsages

ALL UP CAME TO ALMOST $900!

Definately find a florist few months before hand if you can. You can go over the details closer to the day and talk about what is and isn't in season!

my wedding isn't soon.... but it's going to be Novemer 3rd, 2007. I haven't really started planning, just having a look around.... we are going to have just a small garden wedding.... so the first thing is to fund a venue.... and I wouldn't have a clue where to look or start!!! eek... I think I may start after New Years...

With the flowers i think they key is to have a big look around. Depending on how important they are to you makes the cost vary a lot. Ours are $3000, but that include table center pieces, chair covers and pew bows. I have gone with a good family friend, but i know that some will charge the earth and may not be that different from the small business down the road. Look around and get quotes at a few places then book. I wouldnt leave it too late, perhaps 3 or 4 months before hand.

Hope this helps,
Emma

He went out with his brothers and a few friends to the Casino on an all night drinking spree:rolleyes: he got home at 6am. He had a great night though and thankfully he left the gambling to the other guys lol (he knows we can't spare the cash right now)

well, my belly won't be getting any smaller hehe. might be off to the dressmaker 2 weeks before! the dress is loose but the slip underneath might need letting out.

wedding underwear - its ok to wear underwire for one day, isnt it? i'm not wearing a maternity bra for my wedding, i gotta say right now!!!
