When my ds was about 5 he used to go through the toy catalogues and cut out what he wanted and stick them on the fridge.

Now I just have to find the money to do Santas list :tree:
many items on there lists are $80 each
I really don't think I will be able to get everything
and Christmas is about being with your loved ones and having that magical feeling
I just hope my girls still have a great Christmas.

Hehe my 3 year old is always studying the catalogues in search of what he wants lol. He usually takes it to grandma's house and asks his uncle who buys him what ever he wants lol. He is always taking our ds to Kmart to buy him a toy of some sort lol. He's been carrying the catalogue around for days now and is telling me what he wants for xmas so i have a few ideas at least and keeps telling me "i get this for christmas mum???"
He says his favourite shops are Kmart and Big WRX (that's what he calls it thanks to his car crazy uncles)

My son is 21 months...he loves looking through the junk mail that comes in....especially the toy brochures.

I made the mistake of saying one day "oh, look at that...mummy should get that for you"...well, blow me down, he grabbed the catelog out of my hands, said "YES"...went to try and put his shoes on, grabbed my car keys, went to the door and said "Go, go, go!!!"

It was hillarious:laughing:

We have to steal another catalogue from the neighbours (luckily it's our Nanny & Poppy!) just so World War III doesn't break out!!! :o

Playstation 3 is out soon ;)

My son will be 5.5months old at christmas time too.

Plan on hitting Toys R Us too look at the 6months plus range.

DH loves looking at all the toys and last time we went wanted to buy DS a little drum! Luckily DS was too young at the time so I could happily say noooo.

Not sure what my reason will be this time, but will probably give in. I know DS would love it lol...Mummy will just have to put up with the noise.

After all it is his firts Christmas :tree:

My parents have already bought his gift already

If you can afford it I reccommend getting one. I was planning on getting it for his pressie but my Mum stole the idea lol..

I always get excited when I get a toy catalog in the mail box...say's to DS1 "Hey look at all the toys in this Hayden" My 3.5 yr old lurves studying all the toys in them. I think it's great  keeps him busy and out of my hair for at least 30 mins at a time :D.... and I also find out what takes his fancy without taking him shopping.

 , well we've already made that mistake, our oldest, who is 4 in a few weeks loves to get the 'Toy Paper' as he calls it, and sit down and read with his dad.. He'll get a pen and mark each thing he'd like.

I just say...maybe one day... That works for now :fingerscrossed:
