Nov Bubs 12 Month Stats

Hi all,

Thought I'd start a 12 month post similar to the one Tracey (TwoBlue) did with the 6mth details so we can see how our bubs have developed over the last year:)

So heres EJ's details:smiliedance:

Birth: weight 3.220kg Length - 50cm Head circ - 33.5cm

12 months (CHN checkup today)
Weight - 10.1kg
Length - 74cm
Head Circ 46.8cm

Crawling - Yes
Sit up from lying down position - Yes - rolls over onto stomach and then sits up
Pulling to a stand - Yes
Cruising Furniture - Has done one step to something else once
Standing unsupported - For about 5 seconds
Walking - Will walk holding hands and sometimes recently only holding one hand
Clapping - Yes
Waving - Not really has once or twice
Nods and Shakes Head - Will shake no - hasnt nodded for yes yet
Words - Mama, Dada, Bubba, nah (usually will shake head no instead) & yeah, good girl,hungry,ok and allo (hello). Will also now point at a sheep and say ba and says bla bla which is her noise for a quack when you sing 5 little ducks to her lol

Crawling - nope- not unless he needs something that is under the table :laughing:
Sit up from lying down position - Yes - rolls over onto stomach and then sits up
Pulling to a stand - Yes
Cruising Furniture - has just started to try climbing - when he cant reach something - foot comes right up .. while arms battle for grip!!!
Standing unsupported - Yes
Walking - About to start running .. loves to play chasey - but kinda freaks and freezes .. giggling .
Clapping - Yes
Waving - loves to wave goodbye - not so good with hello yet - waves bye to mum and dad everyday (loves his sitter .. no tears .. ever)
Words - mum- dad- no (favourite of course)- pup- hair (favourite body part) - nana (banana)- ta (very popular too .. as it tends to get him what he wants)- he loves to copy adults and their sounds .. (can say woof for puppies .. neow for cats and mmmmm for cows- I think he will be a vet!!! :D)

:eek: my goodness :eek: Sienna was roughly that big at 7.5mths...tho her head was smaller. I'm getting her needles, etc, next thursday, I'm a little scared to find out how much she has grown. She has been in size 0 since about 8mths, so she hasn't been growing very fast the last few mths.

Will be back next thurs with her stats :yes:

He is as big as Elysha - and alittle heavier...

hehe Bekky !! G is a big boy but Ethan wasnt far off his weight at that age... the weight settles a bit, slows down and even stops once they start moving around alot... so big boy G will probably end up being normal boy G by 12 months old...once he has been crawling around at sub zero speeds for a while he will drop some weight !!

oh and i love 'em big and smoodgy :thumbsup:

WOW G's a big boy bekky lol - EJ at 10.1kg is just under the 75% percentile in weight for 12mths LOL - 10.1 is off the graph for a boy at 5mths looking at the child health record lol

Veve - Jack being 12.5kg is nearly the 97th percentile in weight -Big boy :)

hahahaha my 1yr old is still in 00 and some 0's!! i will find out all the stats this week and post once i know :laughing: a month ago she was 69cm & just under 8kg. no-one believes it when i say she's 1!! she's taking steps but only the odd one here and there.. flies around the house pushing her sisters prams though.

Sit up from lying down position - stands from sitting position without needing anything to pull up on.
Pulling to a stand - Yes
Cruising Furniture - and the walls too!
Standing unsupported - for as long as possible! Trying to get the nerve up to take steps without giggling his head off!
Walking - the occassional step is getting more confident.
Clapping - Yes
Waving - all the time. Also waves upside down which mean "gimme" (does that make sense?)
Words - Dad, daddeee, dada. Lala (sister), nana. Occassionally mum...

:yes: I dont thing with his genetics he stood a chance really - :D ... Jack has never been small - even now that he is striding around the house - he STILL has fat rolls (gorgeous ones) on his legs :kiss: I LOOOVE those legs!!!

Walking - Everywhere! almost at a full pace run, especially if he thinks he can make it out the driveway before me!

he did not like the dr yesterday. he cried his little head off, im glad he didnt do the silent scream i can handle normal screams but not that silent scream. but he was all better as soon as we got away from the dr. although when the reception lady tried to put a sticker on his shirt he screamed again, he thought he was going to be hurt again:( poor little guy. it broke my heart the way he looked at me when they put the first needle in. daddy was holding him but it was me that got the "how could u do this to me" look.:crying:

Waving - only when she feels like it
Nods and Shakes Head - no...if she wants something she grabs it lol

So she really hasn't grown too much since I last had her weighed...at 7.5mths she was 8.9kg and 75cm with a 45cm head...thankfully her growth has slowed down, I'm not sure I would be able to pick her up any more if she had kept growing at the rate she was lol.

Weight - 7.12kg (lost weight last month :( )

Crawling: No, bum shuffles around slowly though. Gives me time to catch her!
Sitting up from lying position: No! She used to but she's forgotten she can do it!! hehe
Pulling to a stand: Once last week!
Cruising furniture: No
Standing unsupported: No. Stands by herself at furniture or play table.
Walking: Only with hands held or one hand held.
Clapping: Yes, all the time.
Waving:as above!! Whole arm wave just like Ben!

Crawling: Flying around for a while now. Does the crab crawl on grass!!
Sitting up from lying position: Only lays down when sleeping and if Im lucky changing his nappy. Has occasionally even done a 'sit-up' to get up!
Pulling to a stand: Yep, doesnt need to hold anything though.
Cruising furniture: yep, and anything else!
Standing unsupported: definately!
Walking: tentative steps checking out what his capable of! He loves to fall excitedly into my arms when hes gone a couple of steps!
Clapping: nop, hasnt really got this yet!
Waving: No waving either, just sort of stares at you!

He suddenly learnt to back himself of the bed and does so successfully each time too! Very Cute! He probably learnt pretty quick after crawling off head first a while ago and getting a bloody mouth! Oops!
