Hi there,
i am not really after recipes as such, more just ideas, but couldnt find a relavant board......
I have a 20 month old bub who is a total foodie, loves everything ...which is great, but definitely leaning towards being a total chubster and I dont want to enhance this with high sugar/fatty snacks etc....... the prob I have though is pretty much everything seems so high in sugar....The easy snacks I take out with us for her include sultanas, rice crackers, fruit, etc.....all of which except the rice crackers are sugar loaded.....

Does anyone have any ideas for low sugar snacks that are easy and simple to take out and about and easy to eat - ie not too messy. She is pretty anti veges at the moment unfortunately, but most other things are ok. I am always racking my brain trying to come up with ideas, but am a bit useless in that department.....

Any suggestions very welcomed Thanks !

Hi, my little girl is also 20 months & I have also struggled with healthy, interesting meal ideas for her. A few of the things that I have tried with her are homemade vege samosas with yoghurt raita, mini spring rolls, mini quiches, mini corn & ham muffins, mini pizzas, pinwheel sandwiches, pikelets with berries or sliced banana. These are just some of the ideas that I have used to interest Olivia & surprisingly she has tried all of them & even loved some, like the samosas :smiliedance: Why not try something out of the ordinary, sometimes they really do surprise you. If you need any help with the recipes, PM me I'm happy to help:chef:

Good luck,
Brooke & Olivia.

I'd be interested in snack ideas aswell. My twins are 10 months old, but eat everything we eat, but I am needing snack ideas. I don't want them eating junk food all the time. (Don't mind giving it as a treat)
Thanks
