I bought this thinking it would make an easy meal for us tonight - but I've never had much luck with packet mixes/jarred sauces - I always seem to pick something that ends up being almost completely inedible (not a reflection of my cooking skills, more the contents of the jar/packet - y'know - too salty...too "fake" tasting....etc, etc....).

Anyone tried any of these?

What do you think?

I've got the "tuna bake - spinach and garlic" variety - any good?

I havn't tried the tuna one myself but I am a big fan of the pasta bake sauces the only thing I do differently is not add the meat to the sauce cause I am not a fan of meat but I find they are delicious!

Thanks O's Mum - I get so nervous trying these things due to past revolting :barf: experiences....

Looks like it's Tuna Pasta Bake night tonight!:smiliedance:

Let us know what it tastes like as DH and DS both like tuna so might have to buy the tuna one if it's nice;)

Okay, the verdict is in....

It was quite nice - a little teensy-tiny bit saltier than I would've made myself, but edible.

And to be honest, if I'd had an extra 1/2 hour, a homemade mornay sauce would have been much nicer - but that's not the point of convenience food, is it?:o

Next week we try a tomato-based pasta bake sauce!
