Hi im interested in starting up a new young mothers group in the penrith and Blue mountains area. There's probably already 4 people in it now and it would be great to have some more people in it. We could do all sorts of things around the Penrith and the mountains areas. We could go to the penrith shopping centre, have a movie day, alternate between peoples houses, go on the scenic railway at katoomba. :p Basically anything that you can think of we can try to do it together. So if your from these areas and would love to meet people your age, then let us know. You dont have to have a baby, you can be pg, TTC, got an older child and any thing else.

Hey I'd like to join u guys. My names elle, i'm 21 and have a 3 month old girl named Tara.
All the women in my mothers group were in their mid thirties so I'm hanging for some young mums iykwim. There are none in my area (northern Beaches, Sydney) and trust me I've investigated! :) . I live a bit further away but I know Penrith quite well as I used to go out with a guy from around there a couple of years ago.
I occasionally still go out to uni near the M4 so could head down the highway to meet u guys.
My e mail is: me_855258@yahoo.com.au

Hey Natalie,
Cool, i'll pm u my details ;) Thats great about your primary school friend... I have one other "mum" friend whose 27. She was in hostpital at the same time shes from Mckay in QLD and has just moved down. Nicest chick.. would u mind if I brought her along? we are both looking for other younger mums. I actually really like Penrith area esp when u get up near the mountains (ever heard of the jelly bean pool? :D ) I used to love it there!
I'm just over the "newborn" bit. Tara just turned 3 months a couple of days ago so shes starting to sleep better. Hard work tho but I love it. Can't wait til shes at the crawling stage like your bubs, might burn off some of my own extra weight i put in in the pregnancy. I wish I could burn off stetch marks too! Dont u miss the days of eating what u want! Sigh. One thing tho, cos of the lack of other mums to talk to I've become a mum forum junkie  Hope that'll change :)
Anywayz Talk to u soon

Hay Elle, of course you can bring your friend, the more the merrier!! :D I remember the feeling of getting bored with the newborn stage. Believe me once it passes you'll want it back. I must admit though i think the best stage is around the 6 month stage. They can understand a bit more, they can interact with you and they cant crawl or run away!! :D I also know that's it hard to get rid of those last kilos. I had jayden 7 months ago and i still cant shake it! Unfortunately about the stretch marks they dont go. You can try and fade them with cocoa butter but they will not fade completely. Its great to see that we are going to have more people in our mothers group. Ive been waiting for ages to meet people around the mountains and penrith area.
If theres anyone else who wants to join this club feel free too! ;)

Hey Elle,
Yeah like Naomi said, the more the merrier!
I know what you mean about the stretch marks...mine are sooo deep! I hate them. They're starting to fade slowly, but definately still noticeable.
I've lost my baby weight, thanks to weight watches! Have lost 10.5kg sice the 1st August.
Didn't even exercise. You can always include being a mum exercise though lol
It's pretty much just eating healthy! Worked for me and mum! :D
I too got bored of the newborn stage, but sometimes i would love it back again, Petey's always crawling away from me when i try to change his nappy! He's so quick! He escapes from his room when i go get the nappy lol
It's good Tara's sleeping better for you :)
Hope to chat to u soon!

Im not sure yet, hopefully soon. Natalie's getting married this weekend so she has been pretty flat out and then she goes on her honeymoon. My wedding is late next month. We might try and get something started either when she gets back from her honeymoon or after my wedding. Ill have to talk to her about it and see what she says. You might want to PM Natalie and ask her, as it really is up to her. Her username is Natalie1985.
Hopefully we'll get to catch up soon. Its great that you want to join with us! :D
