My poor dd

Tonight i was in the kitchen when i heard dd crying,i looked over when i seen that she had pulled a crate of clothes onto her i thought it was just something minor and gave her a cuddle and that then i looked down and there was blood,she had ripped her toe nail,she was in so much pain poor little girl:crying: .Has this ever happend to anyone child?and did you end up having to take them to the doctor to relieve the pressure of blood under the nail?

Oh poor Serena!

About a month ago, DS dropped a HUGE can of dog food onto his big toe nail (I had ONLY turned around for 2 seconds!) but anywhoos there was blood everywhere, I tried applying pressure but it wouldnt stop. We ended up going to the hospital and they cleaned it and dressed it. The doctor thought the nail had fallen off, but it hadnt (Thank god!).

Nope :). The skin is very pink still, but is healing so good!

Aww thats good mel i hope dd's dosnt fall off,i was going to put a banaid on it but then i thought it would be painful to get off so i left it.

Yup and its stopped bleeding now?

He had a special gauze for his, which was meant to be really hard to remove but he was so fascinated by it he kept pulling it off!!! :rolleyes:

Yeh it didnt bleed for very long thank god i tried putting ice pack on but she didnt like that.

Her toe is good now although this morn she hurt it again:o with the darn crate again just bumped it but it dosnt seem to be worrying her.It is a bit swollen i will see how it goes if it gets any worse i will take her to the doctors.
