Here it goes... needing some advice

Well as most of you know im a single mummy.

DD has never seen her father at all, but come christmas her father is comming down to see her...

I haven't seen him since feb this year and im just so scared of seeing him, I don't think ill know how to act....

Does anyone have any tips or anything to help the anxiety

Not sure I have too much advice to offer but I know how you feel... my ex has still not met his daughter either... though I did get a weird out of the blue text for my bday...

I sometimes feel like I should do more to try and get him and his family to see her but then I get that dreaded scared, protective instinct kick in and override all that.....

All I can say is good luck, stay strong and look out for you and Emma.... :hugs:

Your turn now hey sweetie. You can do this. You are so strong. Just remember though, you are the one who has been in her life since the day she was born and you are the one who says what goes. He can come and see her but dont let him get you down. If he thinks he can just turn up at special times like this and never any other times, let him know its not on hun. You are her mum. The one she knows and loves.

And on a selfish note: tell him he better have a damn good prezzie for her!
