i was admitted to hospital last night.....

Well last night i woke up with sharp shooting pains on my left side,
they were that sore i couldent walk, and i had no idea what was going on around me,
Jamie called his parents who rushed over and took me straight to hospital at 12:30AM.
I was given some pain medication and was addmitted for the night.

In the morrning i was woken up by my gyno/obgyn who procedded to do a Pam Smear:( . a ultra sound and a interanl ultra sound,
she found 2 cysts on my right ovarie and 2 cysts on my left ovarie where all the pain is coming from,
she took some more blood off me well heaps of blood off me, and i need to see her in 2 weeks time for the results,
she already thinks i may have PCOS and has told me i can still have kids but it will be very hard :gloomy:
So you could imagine what im feeling rght now.

I was meant to stay in hospital tonight but i signed my self out because i was stuck in a room with a old bat who snored and i already had one sleepless night so im home :)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but very sore still !
and i have all week off work thankgod!!

:hugs: I know what its like unfortunately. seems to me these days there are a large amoun t of women having ovarian cysts and having them bursting. surely this cant be normal

Thats what my doc thinks has happened that a cysts burst but theres nothing they can do about cysts when they burst but just give pain relieve aparently:(

I also have PCOS and so do alot of women in the TTC threads.
It cant kill you put it that way!!
Makes TTC a little more difficult tho :rolleyes:

My Fertility Specialist told me the only way to regulate the hormones and the cysts when not TTC is to go on the pill.

Darling, I feel your pain literally.

Same thing happened to me when I was 6 months pregnant.

Wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy and TBH was worse than labour as being pregnant I couldn't have pain relief.

Make sure you get plenty of rest and dont over do it for a few days.. I made that mistake and ended straight back in hospital :rolleyes:

I had an ovarian cyst burst once, not a pleasant experience! I don't envy you the pain! Good luck with it, i hope it settles down soon. Just remember, if it is PCOS it's not the end of the world. You can still get pregnant! So many of us here have PCOS so you have plenty of support as well!
