Hi there!

I guess it depends on what you are studying. I am doing full-time in Primary Education so I have about 12 contact hours a week. Sure... I have a lot of work to do at home, but I seem to manage it when DD is in bed or at day care.

Go for it!

I study full time and I treat it like a job. My DS goes to daycare 5 days a week so I can study. He had to be in full time care when I was working so I don't find it any different except I can choose my own hours.

If I don't have a lecture until 11 or so we hang out at home and I take him up to daycare later.

There have only been a couple of times this year when I haven't left uni at 3.30pm! Hours are better than when I was at work.

When I worked I had him at daycare at 7.30am and didn't pick him up until about 5.00pm. I spend a lot more time with him now than I did!!

Enjoy the study!

Hi EmsMum

I study full time. Most of the time it it cruisy. It depends what degree/course you are doing. My degree is a bit full-on and it can be hard to manage around assessment and exam times.
You just need to manage your time. Unfortunately I spend heaps of my study time on Bubhub and toher various sites

Everytime I get a little down about not being able to spend as much time with my kids as I'd like I just remind myself its important I secure a good future for myself and my daughters, and it gets a little easier.

What course are you thinking of doing?

yep, it depends on what you study and how much you are willing to sacrafice. the big bonus would be the time factor, you get a degree quicker when you study full-time. some courses are harder than others i guess.
