HI there
I am looking for some new ideas for DH lunches (and mine at home and when we are out and about really!). Things that are healthy, yummy and low budget! any master packers of lunches out there with some new ideas?
Thanks!!

Hmmm...:detective:

Well Im definately not a master at packing lunches but how about these things:

Coles brand bikkie and cheese dips
Celery/Carrot sticks with cream cheese
Assorted Cheeses from the dairy section(mini ones)
Muesli Bars
Pretzels
Low fat muffins (bake them and freeze them)
Meat and Salad mountain bread wrap(instead of a sandwich)

Just a few suggestions. Not overly creative but hope they help.

With the Mountain bread wraps, my MIL makes them with carrot, cheese, chicken, avocado, mayo, salt and pepper and wraps it up and cuts it into bitsize rolls. They are so yummy and good if your having people over for lunch but you could also make them for lunchboxes too.

I can't go past http://veganlunchbox.blogspot.com/ for inspiration. You can easily adapt her lunchboxes to meat recipes.

For a variation on sandwiches, i love chicken or ham, and salad (whatever you want) wraps using tortilla wraps. Add a bit of mayo etc (or sweet chilli sauce for the chicken one maybe?), and wala :wizard: ! (Sorry, had to find an excuse to use that smilie :D )
