Does anyone know what the weight limit for the baby bjorn is? Ds is nearing the 8 - 8.5kg mark and its quite heavy!! and hurty on the old back (not quite what it used to be:) )

Mine is over 10 and I still use the pouch when I need to but he's one big heavy slug so I use it for short trips only where a pram is a bother.
Alternatively now I use an umbrella stroller that weighs under 3 kg's so its as light as a feather...compared to the boombahlahdah........then I have a backpack too...everything but the pram is murder in all honesty though.
How do some people do it?
Maybe weight training?

I think the cheap and nasty umbrella stroller might be the way to go for shortish outings. The usual pram just does not cut it through shops and stuff - gets caught in aisles - bugger to get in and out of car ...blah blah de blah..

Jsut out of interest - when do we get to see the front side of the gorgeous O?

where do u get those umbrella strollers from???? i looked everywhere and ended up buying a much bulkier stroller.

i use our baby backpack which we bought at a camping shop. alice is over 13kg, so my back does get sore but i just grin and bear it. :D i can carry her in it for strecthes of about 20 mins before it really hurts! a bit of a break and then i can go again! it is so much easier than a pram if you are going somewhere with lots of stairs like the Ekka or out to uni or anywhere not very pram-friendly.

BTW: Those cheap nasty umbrella strollers are FABULOUS on public transport which is all I do here and the funny thing is bcos of the 'vibration' O actually really prefers this pram to his luxury model...strange creature!

Surely you guys have them there? Mine is 2.9kgs in weight..(Nothing!!) and cost Y49,000...which is about $49 US....but you can ones for $25 but are twice the weight. In hindsight I'm so glad I payed a little extra as this thing has a shoulder strap so you can sling it over your shoulder to carry as well as a little brake stand thing that makes it stand upright. I really like it as daggy as they are!

I reckon yours one would be the best-est O's Mum. After all they are designed for the "Asian Market" altho I shouldnt bloody call Jp being Asian! But you know, for "slightly" smaller built mums of you know what I mean

And once again, who can beat Jp swanky /or mad stuff? LOL

I'm still waiting for my "Hello Kitty" pink swatch watch :o

Dont worry about the Hello Kitty's Os mum...I've asked just about everyone I know who's currently living in Jp, the result still the same: zilch

Perhaps you could get that hairclips and wear em yourself to celeb H'ween he he :)
