This recipe is courtesy of my American neighbour. They are incredible!

2 cups Flour
1 1/4 cups Cocoa
1 tsp Salt
300gms Butter/Margarine
4 cups Sugar
8 eggs
2 tsp Vanilla
Nuts optional

Mix dry ingredients.

Mix eggs, butter and sugar.
Add dry ingredients gradually to ensure they’re mixed well.

For thin: spread a thin (2cm) layer of mix into a baking tray, cook on 160C for about 20-25 minutes.

For thick: spread about 3cm layer into a baking tray and cook on 160 for 50-60 minutes.

When cooked and cooled (no need to turn onto a cooling rack), ice if necessary, cut into small squares and serve/put into a container/eat straight from the pan.

If you like them really squishy and chewy, under cook them a little. If you don't, cook them a bit longer. It might take a couple of batches of trial and error to find the way you like them best.

And watch out for the kids - this is the best stuff ever raw!

Ice if preferred.

Found this one in another thread.... Mmmm sounds delish :D I know what I'll be doing tomorrow :chef:

Hi guys, sorry it's taken me so long to get back on here!

I've just posted the brownies on RecipeZaar too, for the benefit of all gooey chocolate lovers:D

Ingredients:
175g butter, chopped
200g dark chocolate, chopped
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
3 eggs, lightly beaten
1 2/3 cup plain flour
200g jersey caramels, chopped

Method:
Grease a 20x30cm lamington (slice) tin. Line the base and two long sides with non-stick baking paper.

Melt butter and chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water. Stir in sugar, eggs, sifted flour and Jersey caramels, mix well. Pour into tin.

Bake at 180 degrees C for about 30 mins or until firm to touch. Leave to cool in tin for about 10 mins before turning out onto a wire rack.

Take them out at 30 mins if you like moist & gooey, leave for another 10 if you like a bit firmer and crackle topped.

Happy cooking, they really are amazing!

Oh and I succumb to the Dominos choc fudge brownies and IMO they were way too small  I'd rather spend the money on ingredients and make the extra large portion size :D
