Sorry, another question from me, any suggestions for a good shop for party supplies in VIC - SE / S of Melb?

Also what sort of price and where to get helium ballons?

do you have a spotlight near you?, cause here in queensland spotlight do helium balloons, depending on what you want it costs about $1.20 per balloon, i got DS some for his birthday back in June

Do you have spotlight there? coz they are good for party stuff and they also sell helium in a bottle.

There is one place in Bayswater (not sure whereabouts u r from) called Sparty's its joined with Spotlight and it HAS a HUGE range of party stuff

but a little warning re: helium

We went to order some for Ds's birthday last week and they told us there was a 4 week order time due to "possible shortages" of helium.. They didnt think it would be much longer before they wouldnt be able to get any helium anymore.....

apparently the mines (yes, its mined!!) are basically empty !!

How devestating, as i said to the guy in the shop
" How will we talk with squeeky voices !!??"

In regarsd to other items like cutlery, plates, cups etc.. if you just want plain white stuff go to the regect shop or the warehouse (so cheap!)
