I love funny pet stories :D
I have a 6 week old kitten and I just went to go investigate a splashing noise and found her sitting in the big drinking bowl, soaked to the pin-feathers and licking her paws!
My older cat likes to get in the shower and sit under the spray...
the kitten also has this flexible tube that she climbs into, and with one paw hanging out the end, she rolls herself around from room to room, its hilarious!!
what nutty things do your pets do?

That's what I love about animals, the silly things they do to lighten up your life.
My beagle x springer spaniel pup sleeps on TOP of her kennel  and her favourite toy atm is the fluro pegs she steals off the line.
When my cats were kittens one used to hop in the tissue box (with the ends ripped open) and the other would attack her stomach through the plastic where you pull the tissues through.
Taya - First cat and absolute queen puss - sucks her thimb ( well paw ) - and if you scratch her just where the tail starts on her back ( which she loves) her paw comes down and taya keeps sucking the air lol Very Cute!
Cheeky - kitten to taya - thinks its funny to hide under the stairs at night and jumps out at you but expects you to catch him - this is often at 3am in the morning:eek:
Lupo - Dog - Kisses me on the ears, DH on the mouth and expects hugs ( ie - you have to bend down and he puts his paws and arms around your shoulders and burys his head in your neck-you have to hug back) from EVERYONE who walks in that he knows. If you dont hug him - he will just annoy you till you do lol
He also does belly flops in the pool just to show off if someone is watching and sits automatically if you get the camera out and say cheese ( hmm maybe he thinks he is getting cheese but hey its cute).

These are hilarious! Animals definitely light up your life.
My male cat has to splash his paw in his water dish (like he's scooping water out) before he has a drink. I've never seen him drink without doing it. Water goes everywhere.... He also has to sit at the end of the shower and watch you...not very funny, but makes you uneasy sometimes!! LOL He also sleeps in the bathroom basin of a night...must keep him cool.
My older female cat dribbles sooo much, you can't pat her on your lap or anything, otherwise you get soaked. She also likes to suck and lick your clothes....:o
This is quite funny but some people who observe it dont understand whats going on: when i take my dog, Keisha, for a walk, she waits until you are walking past a nice big patch of grass and then she flips over on her back and kicks her feet so she slides along the grass (she looks quite disgruntled if you stop pulling on the lead) getting a nice back scratch. To onlookers it must look as if i'm dragging her and she doesnt want to walk - but she just thinks its a great way of getting her back scratched!!

Oh where would we be without our pets!! lol.
My incrediably spoilt Cockerspaniel is the most loyal dog you have ever met. As soon as i walk inside and take my shoes off he has them in his mouth and places them side by side in his bed, same with my clothes, if he has slept through me having a shower and getting dressed he wakes up and sniffs everywhere till he finds a peice of my clothing i have had on that day and takes it to his bed. He is also the LOUDEST snorer you have ever met! I can hear him from another room some nights! If you say "give me 5" he will put his paw up and give you 5. He also has a bad habit of humping his stuffed toy duck! (usually when we have guests over! lol) The cutest thing is that every morning when DS wakes up, Axel (the cockerspaniel) comes and nudges me to wake up to go and get him, he then runs round in circles in DS's room because he is so excited to see him (awwww).
My rotty well she is just plain naughty! Not sure much of what she does is funny, just plain naughty! But i still love her! She is also embarrasing if your outside and you have friends over because if she gets too excited and sits down in a hurry she also farts!
Some days they drive me absolutley mad but our family wouldnt be our family without them!
my stepdad just bought DS a mini foxie named Tia almost 2 weeks ago. something to remember him by should he pass away (he has motor nuerone disease which has a short life expectancy) before DS grows up to know who he is.
she is 1 year old. we adopted her from the rspca. she came from a bad home and must not had any love or attention at her previous home coz she is a very affectionate dog always looking for love. but also very stubborn sometimes. lol. she is so tiny but thats what we wanted, we didnt want a big dog (small yard) or a mongrel cross breed (dont want to start a debate but i just dont trust them, kids or no kids) around DS.
she is very good around DS. she is extremely protective. even after knowing DS for a day she was very proctective around him and whenever he cries or has fallen over or something she goes running straight to him to see if he is ok. the funniest thing she does though is when she tries to sit on him. DS could be crawling across the floor and she's there trying to back herself up and sit her backside on top of him. its so cute and so funny. DS gets annoyed with her a little for doing it. but she just loves being close to people, she loves the affection she gets from people.
animal rescue on channel 7 is doing a story on Tia and why my stepdad bought tia and why she was at the rspca before we adopted her. they did a bit last week of my stepdad picking her up from the rspca (although we already had her for a few days) and tomorrow they are gonna film her at home to show her home environment now and how much better her life is now we adopted her. they want DS to be filmed with Tia because she was bought for him by my stepdad and they want to show how are both happy to be around each other.
so look out for it on 7 sometime next year when they show it.
i dont want to be one of those bragging obnoxious mothers but i cant help it, my gorgeous son will be on tv...:D
