This thread is for anyone who would like to join in a knit off.

This is my fave pattern for soakers and super easy. You can of course use which ever patten you wish.

Feel free to ask qs. Give it a go!

Okay if I can join in I will!
Lets say two weeks from now I will start a thread for pics of what is created. 24th November. And a week later we can vote. Does that seem reasonable?

Kymmy i might just sit this one out and learn how to knit first. Hopefully :fingerscrossed: i'll be able to join the next one. Can't wait to see the end results of this one though :D

Question : Is the comp strictly soakers or can anything be submitted ?

I don't mind if ppl knit something else for the knit off.
Shed - how long does it take you to knit a soaker? I am not sure how long it takes for others. Since I am always knitting....

I have my wool! :)

My soakers only take 3 or 4 days...depending on how much interruption the little man provides. Maybe a week if he is being demanding :)

Ooh this is bad.... I'm finished already!

I like that pattern Kimmy, but it did confuse me a little with the stitch counting in some places. But I made a small adjustment and voila...boooootiful.

Just have to sew up the seams tonight and I'll start a new pattern tomorrow :)

(Can't half tell I'm a knitting addict :o)

 Noo! Can't wait to see!
I am working on other things but will be on it soon probably next week.
To be honest I am terrible with patterns. They all confuse me! Must be my non math head.

How are we going?
I am yet to start but I have an idea - something I have been wanting to make for a while.
I will start a new thread for those who want to post pics.

I'm still not finished the jumper so will have to sit this one out.

Unfortunately knitting is not something you can do quickly at the last minute, unlike nappy-sewing.

kymmy

Yeah knitting takes somewhat longer than a nappy!
I have a few things on the needles but will like to start a soaker soon for the knit off.
