for the last month i have been checking my cervix as we are ttc. for the most part it as been low and a little bit open (can fit the tip of my finger in a little bit) and my cm has been thin and kinda clear sometimes milky. the other day for 2 nights my cp was high and closed (couldn't fit tip of finger in) but cm was the same. now it has gone back to being open and cm hasn't changed.

i was just wondering if the high cervix means that i was ovulating? because my cycles are all over the place i have no idea where i am in my cycle. last time i bled for 8 weeks and i can't remember exactly when i stopped bleeding.

thanks for reading and sorry for the tmi!

Hi Belinda,

I think maybe your cycle could be a bit confused, and if I were you I wouldn't trust to only one method to work out when you are ovulating, especially since your CM doesn't appear to be giving clear signals. Try taking your temp, using OPKs, or using maybe baby to back it up. Generally speaking your cervix should be high and open when you are ovulating (so the swimmers can get in).

thanks little fish. i have tried using fertility friend and temping but i keep forgetting and can't always do it at the same time every day.

are there other methods to predict ovulation without temping or using expensive opk's?

Take a look at this web page Billie&Beth, it may help you somewhat.

Good Luck.
