Who has never had a Party?

Is there anyone here who has never had a birthday party? Im 20 and my parents never ever threw me one. My best friend thinks its weird, and my dh does too. His parents neglected him as a kid and he still atleast got a bit of a birthday bash lol.

Well, its my 21st in february, and im gunna throw my OWN party, and invite my 1 friend and my dh lol...hmm....its gunna be exciting! :party:

My parties as a kid always consisted of just my mum and brothers and sisters, sometimes a friend or two.

I missed having a party for my 18th, 19th and 20th...but this was self imposed :laughing:

I'm so anti-social sometimes....at least if I only invite DH I won't have to pick-up the phone :laughing:

I really wanna have faerie (sp?) bread and a mud cake etc :cool:....maybe a drink or two as well!

lol, im a bit anti-social too, and my only friend is one that isnt even really a friend...hit on my dh and stuff:banghead:...safe to say i wouldnt be dissapointed if she didnt come.

I think i wana go horse riding cause i havent been able to go in years...but then dh wont be able to come...i dont think hes to into it lol.

My other option was maybe dreamworld if i can get someone to watch dd :D

I've never really had one. I had 2-3 when I was a kid with about 4 friends coming over. Didn't want a 16th, 18th or 21st......I'm not a party person.

Threw myself a party when I was 20, must have known something as when I was 21 was very much pregnant with my first child ( with ex). Am going to throw myself another party in 5 years time when I hit the big 50:eek: My big kids will be 29 and 26 my little boys will be 10 and 6 by then, think they will be able to handle seeing their mum acting like a jerk:D Hopefully want do to much damage to their upbringing:D

We were never really a "party family".

We got parties for our 1st bday, prep, grade 6, 18th and 21st (they were proper parties) and if we wanted to go out for dinner with a few friends for the other parties we were allowed.

But my best friend from highschool has had a party every single year of her life. I just went to her 25th and it seemed not long ago I went to her 24th...:eek: I dont think they are nessasary every year.

I dont really need a party...im just bitter, for my 18th, my mum said happy birthday, but everyone else except dh forgot :eek: lol

My mum had never had a birthday party until last year.
We gave her a surprise 50th :party:
It was not until after the party that mum told me she had never had birthday party's as a child. But she always make sure that we did. Make me feel so sad for my mum :crying:

Thats a shame :(...my mum was the same but we threw her one for her 40th. I wonder if she didnt throw us any as kids cause she didnt recieve one and didnt feel it was needed?

Needless to say, im ofcourse going to spoil DD rotten with birthdays:laughing:
