hi id love to have coffee and meet im new to the coast just had bubb number 2 on the 1st of the month so dont want to get stuck in that rut of lonliness like i did with number 1 my first bubb is 2 now im starting family day care with him next week every tuesday and friday so it will be easier for me to get out on the other days in less its at somones place with enclosures let me know if you sort something out

I've had a quick skim over some of your posts, you all sound lovely! We moved to the beautiful sunny coast in April. I live in Woombye. I would love to get to know some coast mums. I'm so shy tho' I find it hard to get to know people. I had lived in our last town most of my lfie and had friends since primary school, I've never had to start from scratch before. :( I have 3 children. all girls. 5yr old, 3 yr old and 6 month old. They keep me on my toes.

I was thinking of taking my girls to the new Kids run Free play centre/cafe over the xmas holidays. it's in the P.c.y.c building youth ave Burnside, Nambour. Admission is $7 for children 2-6 yrs 1-2yrs $4 babies and adults are free. It has jumping castle, kiddie roller coaster, ride on cars, cubby house. I've never been before but i thought it sounded good. If anyone else would like to check it out we'll make a day for it.

Anyway I better dash my baby is crying. (wanting another feed)

I know there are a few mums who go to the Indoor Play Centre at Nambour fairly regularly. Contact debster - I think she goes a fair bit. :yes:

I work full time at the moment, but have weekends free & also will be going on maternity leave in January (YAY!!! :smiliedance:)

and i love your ELO quote by the way. :) We have a few ELO albums, I probably have the one with that song on it, havn't heard it in ages tho. I love the song Without Someone. It's off the Balance of Power album which i don't think was released in Australia, if it was there were only a limited amount of copies.

That's OK Katrina! PM is Private Message. If you want to send a message to someone on bub hub, just click on their username & select the "send a private message to ..." option. It's kind of like emailing them. That member will then get a notification that they have a PM when they next login, or when they move to another page if they're already logged in.

We try to organise details for meets etc via PM as much as possible so that any lurking nasties can't get the full details of where we are taking our kids. You can also use it to chat to someone, just say hi, or talk someone if you don't want the whole world to see what you have to say.

It is definitely starting to warm up now! We have a/c in a couple of rooms, but better yet, we have a pool!! :D

And yep :yes: I'm a big ELO dag!! I have a few records/cds here & there - probably mostly in boxes, as we've moved quite a bit & never seem to get around to unpacking everything! I have ELO's Greatest Hits cd in my car, which I used to listen to a fair bit when I was PG with DD. Mr Blue Sky always made me think of her! :)
