Isobella is 16.5 months (almost out of this group as she was due end of july/start august but born june 28th) Shes been walking for a few weeks now and is talking HEAPS! Every day she comes out with new words, her latest is Panda which is what her fav book is about tho she mistakingly calls our scruffy black and white dog a panda now too lmao
Whats everyone elses toddler up to? :)
Shes got 16 teeth now :o I hope she doesnt go through a biting stage like both the boys have!!

16teeth  . Kaleb only has 4, and bites. He has been walking since 10 months and is now trying to copy everything we say. This weeks new word tractor,we live on a farm. He is a real little person now, trying to do everything for himself. He gets along very well with his older brother. He is trying hard to cut day sleeps:no: . I can't wait for christmas this year cause he will be able to open his own pressies:tree:

Hi!
My toddler is 17mths next week! Where has the time gone?? I am 8 weeks away from giving birth to her baby sister :yelclap:
We added up all the words she can say now, it's about 25! It's amazing how quickly they pick up words, little sponges! And she's so funny. She cracks us up all the time with her antics. I can't believe how much they can do at this age, trying to be all independent. Tonight she showed us she can blow her nose! It's such a fun age isn't it??

Xavier is 18months, actually he will be 19months tomorrow. Wow I only just noticed, this year is racing by. He is full of life and mishief and I am constantly cleaning up after him getting into things he shouldn't.
His vocab is expanding rapidly everyday, amazing to watch him learn.
We are TTC for no.2 now as he is lonely sometimes. We just got a puppy and they keep each other company, they sit together on his little batman couch sooo cute.:reindeer:
OH yeah walked at 10 months and he has 12 teeth. He is getting his eye teeth soon though, they are under the gum looking ouchies!!

Hello ladies, can I join in here? I'm just curious of your children's weight. My daughter was small at birth, but even now, she'll be 18 months in 8 days time, and she weighs just 8.5 kgs. I was petrified that when I went to the doctors, I would be classified a bad mother for not feeding my daughter, however, the doctor (third one in the last 12 months!) has reassured me that she is normal & everything is ok, she will just be little, well, forever!
So anyway, my question is, how much does your little one weigh?
Hi Paul'sWife. My (not so) little one is 16.5 months and weighs 12 kgs and she is also in the normal range, but obviously at the top end, she is very tall and was born big.
If your doc isn't worried about her, and she eats her fair share for her size, she's probably fine and like your doc says, small anyway.
I am scared I'll be classified a bad mother every time I go to the docs LOL - I always leave having been reassured I am a GOOD mum for having brought her in to get checked out!
My bubba is growing up so fast too. She was running today, about 10 steps, almost fell on her face, but slowed up enough just in time to save herself! LOL Talking heaps, I have no idea how many words, too many to count! She also knows over 60 signs (we are teaching her Auslan)....
We are also TTC#2 now, it's official - i wanna shout it from the rooftops! :smiliedance:

My "little" (but truely not so little) one weighs around the 14kg.... He is fairly tall though and I often get asked what it is like having a 3yrd old and a new baby  His dadda is tall (me- i am a little shorty :D ) so had to expect that I guess....
Maybe your little one is just going to be petite... If she is healthy, happy and the medical practitioners are not concerned don't allow yourself to beat yourself up...
Trust your motherly instinct.... :hugs:
at 18 months my dd was 11kg now at 2 1/2 yrs shes 13kg. I'd say your bub is doing fine :) My ds is 8 weeks hes on the 75% line in height but only on the 25% line in weight lol

Hiya, hope I can crash in on the thread too!
Summer is now 19 & a half months old (born 2nd April, 05) She weighs 9.5kgs now- still only a little bubba! She's starting to fit into size 1 now which is good because I went out & brought all size 1 Summer clothes a long time ago.
She's pronouncing words much better now too. She sounds so cute when she says 'Taliyah' she says it nearly perfectly! She's getting 5 teeth coming through  (doing pretty good with them though.. ) She already has 12 teeth at the moment.
Hope to chat with you all some more!

yep bella does this, she eats a tonne and zach used to to.... I am yet to seriously meet a child that ate as much as zach did at there age... he went to childcare once a week and LITERALLY ate 7 times what the other children in his group would eat... they'd eat one sandwhich he would eat SEVEN, they'd eat one bowl of fruit.. yep he'd eat seven.... dinner time was the same... absolutely amazing amounts and honestly if you met him you'd laugh.. as I said above hes 4 yrs old and only 13.5kg lol
However, don't be fooled - it doesnt last forever and it wont be long til they're refusing to eat anything you give them lol

hi guys,
i have a hard time trying to get indya to have a nap durin the day ,when her dads home from work , she is just so excited, so latley i have givin up, she seem to go to bed early , with no fuss at all.
i've never actually posted in this thread so hi to everyone.
Tyllee is now 20 months (may baby). She is finally cutting her eye teeth, but has all the rest, excluding her 2 year molars. She is just over 10 kilos but is a little midget (doesn't help when DH's family are all around the 5ft mark). Haven't measured her since her first birthday so have no idea, but she's little. Her vocab consists of approx 20 words ( some are two-three word sentences) but i think that she lets her big brother do all the talking, even though she understands everything we tell her to do. At the moment she loves riding in her motorised car (xmas present) and is starting to imitate us (pretends to cook dinner with her set and sweeps the floor etc). Tyllee loves to dance and eat and still has a bottle for her sleep times.
But getting very independent - and tries everything her big brother does, she's not scared of anything and will climb up the ladder onto the slippery slide and into the trampoline enclosure etc.
gosh she has grown up sooooo much, it isn't until you actually think about what they can do, that it amazes you of how much they have learnt in their short little lives.
