Perineal Scar

Does anyone know how long these scars take to heal? It's been 4 mths and still extremely tender.

Hi,

Everybody is different in their healing time. I had max 6mths ago and im still very tender there. If you are concerned ring you ob or Gp and see what they have to say.

In time it will heal! :confused:

A friend of mine was using Vitamin E to help, with some success.

Not sure if they were using a cream, or taking a tablet. Perhaps ask at a health food shop?

My doctor told me vitamin E oil is even better than the cream. I haven't had my bub yet so i haven't tried it out down stairs but i used it on a BIG scar on my arm!
