Hi,
My name is Kate Patterson and I am a journalist from The Sunday Mail. I'm writing a story this week about experts predicting Christmas feasts this year could be more expensive then ever. The traditional roast and vegies etc have been hit by drought price rises. I'll list some questions below and hopefully a few Queensland mums could PM with their answers.
1. Are you worried that price rises might affect the traditional Christmas feast? and Why?
2. Has hosting Christmas lunch/dinner become more expensive Please explain?
3. What items have you noticed have gone up in price the most?
4. Will food prices effect the way you entertain on Christmas day? please explain?
5. Christmas is already an expensive time of year, will this have an impact?
6. Could you put a price on how much it costs to host a Christmas lunch or dinner?
7. Anything else you would like to add on this topic?
8. What is your full name, age, what suburb, are you from and how many in your family and how many would normally attend your Christmas gathering. (just so I can say Mother-of-two Jane Smith, 23, from Carindale said she normally joins 10 family members for Christmas lunch).
9. Are you interested in being in a photo at the grocery store with kids Thursday or Friday?
Cheers,
Kate.
