Does anybody have a scrumptious recipe for home made fried rice???
I've got some cooked rice in the fridge and thought it'd be something yum for dinner!
Thanx :chef:

I just throw in cooked egg, bacon and random veggies, add some soy sauce and maybe wostishire (sp?) {i have a love affair with it at the moment}
My cooking style is very much "little this, little that"

I love making fried rice!! You'll find its very easy and you can change it up to suit yur tastes...
Ingrediants:
2 Carrots, finely chopped
1 red Capsicum, finely chopped
1 green Capsicum, finely chopped
1 Onion Finely chopped
4 eggs
4-6 rashes of bacon, Chopped
1 spring onion chopped
3/4 cup of peas
1/2 cup of soy sauce
1/3 cup of worchestire (sp) sauce
2 teaspoons of minces garlic
5 cups of rice
1/3 cup of water
Step 1: Cook rice on high in microwave for 25 mins (depending on how strong your microwave is)
Step 2: Sautee onion and garlic in a large wok, add bacon and continue to fry.
Step 3: Add Capsicum, Peas and carrot, add a touch of water to help soften the vegies.
Step 4: Wisk together eggs and in a seperate frying pan make scrambled eggs. Then add to vegies.
Step 5: Add rice to wok and stir vegies, bacon and eggs through.
Step 6: Add soy and worchestire (sp) sauce to taste. Stir fry for a couple of minutes and then serve!
Hope this makes sense because i tried to type it off the top[ of my head :o
Good luck!

How can you replicate the chinese restaurant flavour? I have never been able to do that.

Im not sure if its what does it but I use a bit of sesame oil & a bit of peanut oil in mine & I reckon mine is just as good as the chinese restarants. (depending on what day it is):o
