My baby girl

I went into premature labour and had my beautiful baby girl at 29 weeks gestation weighing 2 lb 17oz
it's a miracle she is alive today as thier were quite a few complications and the doctors didn't seem too confident but she pulled through and she's doing just fine:) very speedy recovery :thumbsup:
she definately had her angels with her.
I feel really sad sometimes because i feel it was my fault for going into labour too soon as i was under alot of stress and some of it i could have quite easily avoided..
I've had alot of help from my family and probably couldn't have made it through without them.

Congratulations :yelclap: on the arrival of your beautiful daughter. It is very normal to have feelings of guilt, loss and sadness on the birth of a premmie, we all go through it. Just keep enjoying each day as it comes.

I know even now I still have some of those feelings surface. My twins were born at 31wks and are now 13mths (11mths corrected) and thriving yet I still can't help but think they're already one but shouldn't be until the end of this month.

It does get easier as time goes on. I hope your little one is home where she belongs before you know it.

Sarak please don't blame yourself, it's a mothers natural instinct to protect her child even the unborn and therefore natural to feel like you could have prevented early labour. Be kind to yourself and look forward to all the positive steps of development your baby girl will endure in the future ;)
