Some timing questions...help please !!

Hi Everyone,:wave:

I wondered if you could help me with some questions... This is my first IVF and don't understand much about the whole post transfer bit !

My details are:
HCG injection: Monday last week (8.5 days ago)
EPU: Wednesday last week (nearly 7 days ago)
Transfer: Friday last week - 1 embie (Nearly 5 days ago)

I have had pregnyl injections Day of transfer, yesterday and again on Thursday.... Plus YUCK :( progestoron pessaries twice a day !

My questions are:
* If AF arrives and I'm not PG when would it come ? Does it have anything to do with a normal cycle or is it completey different. My normal cycle is spot on 28 days.
* Should I still be having ovary pain?
* When would a HPT work?

Welcome to the thread and good luck with your IVF journey. I have done 2 full IVF cycles so can hopefully help you out a little bit!
re the AF arriving... the clinic that you go to would have booked you in for a BT at some point ( around 2weeks after your ET to check for pregnancy. Both time I have got AF just a day or so before the BT. They recommend not doing a HPT as the gel you are taking twice a day can effect the result... easy to say but best to wait for the BT. An yes I still had aches and pains for a while after the EPU, I think this differs depending on how many follicles they retrieved.

Come and join the post first cylce in a fews days part 5... there are stax off girls in the 2ww at the moment and we are a pretty source of info. The gilrs are really supportive.

Hey chicky - you are in exactly the same boat as i am!!
I also had pick up last wednesday and then transfer on friday for the first time. So like you im feeling very anxious, nervous and excited all at the same time.
