Okay, I just got my batch of bbh's - the starter pack, and I'm trying to figure out what to use in them. Do you use both the mini-insert and the long one you have to fold (for day time)? And you use a fleece liner everytime, right, to keep bubs skin dry?For overnight do I go overkill and use the bamboo ones with both inserts and a bamboo booster, and a wool cover? Just wondering what others find works for them. They look so cute without the covers on it's such a shame to cover them up:)

It depends on the child. I would start with both the snap in inserts and if you find you don't need so much bulk then take one out (probably the smaller insert)!

Sure do and it also makes cleaning the nappy off sooooo much easier!

Try both the snap in boosters and the fold up and then if it is too much take away the fold up! Wool is great for overnight so yep either the wool or PUL cover is going to do the job.

During the day why bother with a cover? I just let Ozzy run around without the cover on! I use both snap in boosters for day time!;)

Hey Mel,
on Hugh- who's 4 months old, I always use both inserts.
In the hemp nappies I use a fleece liner and no liner in the bamboo, this is generally my daytime routine. Sometimes if I need to change Hugh but it won't be long before I'll put his night nappy on I don't worry about a cover.
For night, 7-7ish, and his big morning sleep-8ish to 12ish, I always use both inserts and a bamboo fold up in bamboo with a wool cover or soaker.
Never had any problems doing this

Can I ask why you don't use a liner in the hemp? But you do in the bamboo?

I do use a liner in the hemp- comfort factor is the only reason I do, that's why I don't bother putting one in the bamboo. Does that make sense:confused:
I've never had a prob with poo sticking to either though anyway.
