Hi All,

Just wanted to let you all know that I have just gotten off the line to my GP who has kindly advised me that there is nothing to worry about re my gestational diabetes test that I had done on Saturday...yeh...kinda glad cause I was worried that I would not be able to eat chocolate and sugar until after our little man was born...And a space has opened for me in the Birth Centre which I am mildy chuffed about cause I had my heart set on going there from the beginning and there were no midwives available..At least if I start off there...part of my birth plan is in place...even if I have to get moved or have drugs or a C-section...At least I know I tried to go natural...he,he,he......

That's great news, Bec! I'm so glad that your birth plan is flexible - it's so upsetting for Mum's who have their heart set on one thing or another, and for some reason that has to change. I have 3 shifts left of work - woo hoo! ;)

Lucky you with the 3 shifts left of work...although you have more than 1 little one to consider, so I am sure that you are awfully exhausted by the end of the day...and the end of the week.
I am considering working until the end of Jan now (so longer than 24 days to go) so that I can spend the babies 1st birthday with him in the event that I do have to come back to work full time....I will see how I go though...
