View Full Version : body shop from home?
hey was wondering if anyone has done body shop from home and if it is worth it?
I have only hosted a body shop at home party and being rural it was definately worth it for me and the lady that did it. It works here as the nearest Body shop is 3 hrs away. I guess it would be depend on your location. Some of their products are to die for....warming mineral mask, yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaah :D :D
HTH cheers Jen

OOOHHHHHH yeah it's worth it.
I've been doing this for under a year and I'm kicking goals. I just love it. I am going to resign from my job soon, so I can concentrate on this. Everyone loves a Body Shop party - no one has to be conned into coming. Because we are such a young company (on the at home side) lots of people don't know about it. We structure the parties so they are fun and interactive - everyone gets to try the products and leave smelling sensational!!
Its great to be a part of the Community Trade project, supporting marginalised communities all over the world. I've met a huge new circle of friends - we swap stories and exchange ideas, there is plenty of support from Head Office and all the other consultants.
How much do you know so far?
There is plenty of ongoing training and support in Business Building, Skin Care, Make up and it's ALL FREE! We even have conference calls for those who live far away.
I am just about to put an order in from the last week - three days have netted me approx $450.
Let me know if you need more info. There is plenty more!!
i am having body shop part on nov 5th
my friend has just started doing it so i'll see how it goes....
should be fun! and hopefuly i will get some freebies! thats always nice :D
i got an information pack sent out to me but i didn't realise it cost over $300 to start out...as i don't really have alot of money im scared that it will turn out not to be worth it! but really really wanna do it...HELP
Lucybelle are you coming to the Melbourne Mums meet on Friday? If you're there I'd love to talk to you about this.

Sarah, someone should be contacting you shortly to discuss any questions you have, or call Head Office again and they can have a chat with you.
You will have your own business, and there is startup costs. This is pretty good considering what you get is over $800 of products and all the paperwork you will need for awhile. You can recoup those costs in the first few parties you have.
Like I mentioned before there is plenty of support and backup from all of us. I went from being an OK consultant to top seller in 5 weeks because I had a great Team Leader. Nine weeks after that I had my own team, and I did it all on my own, and I've never had so much fun (hectic, yes!)!
Don't make a move until you are happy with your decision - talk it over with your sponsor (she will call you soon), she can answer all your questions.
this is my story and there are plenty of others. I love what I do, I have passion for the product and the Core Values. I hope it will be right for you too.
Wattle - I can't make it - I'm flat out on Fridays, especially with Xmas trade beginning! I'm happy to discuss this via email with you. We can always catch up for a coffee during the middle of the week.
It's probably more appropriate if any further discussion is done via PM or email me at lucytunes@optusnet.com.au

Lucybelle, are you still doing the body shop at home? if yes, how is it going these days for you? Love to hear from you...kind regards, Roslyn.:flowerz:
I think it is worth it. I am with Nutri and its the time and effort you put into something like this as to what you get out of it :)
Good Luck :)
